In typical old quebec tourist street. Ambiance first class. However, no reception, no staff at this address. Need front door key to very difficult entry. I am 84! tk.goodness my daughter was with me! Address. Parking handled by staff at another hotel on another street. Wonderful experience, Customer Service..well done!!.Always willing to imform on questions asked.Very friendly and accomadating.

The fact that you had to go to another building to check-in after hours made it quieter and more peaceful. Would gladly stay there again if I go to Quebec. Confusion on arrival. Abandonment! No staff at this address. Main hotel parking attendants helpful but limited to parking and luggage delivery. No assist re dead battery on departure labour day saturday! (10 minute parking restriction so flashers left on.) $225 one night. Nothing. Parking cost an extra $18/night. 1.The breakfeast was not included and this was not explicitily written when I booked the room. 2. There was a couple making sex in the room next to ours and it was possible to hear everything. The sounds and screaming were very unconfortable. It rained. to drag the luggage up to the 3rd floor, because there was no elevator, the facilities (Spa, etc.) were all in the "partner hotel", very small room. When we arrived at the Louisbourg to check in we found that we had to go back around the corner to another hotel to actually check in and get the keys. Not a big problem but it would have helped to have learned this when we made our original reservations. The water pressure and temperature wasn't great, but it was in a very old building, so that makes sense. Noise easily heard from other rooms. Lack of an elevator and narrow hallways made moving luggage a bit of a burden. no reception desk at the hotel . we where told about it , still we did not like it. room to overpriced. Noise from other guests, armchair not comfortable, shower very cramped. wish the price low down. when we checked in ; we were advised by another patron where to do this properly perhaps a larger sign stating where to go....as we could see the desk we assumed it was right at louisbourg. very badly insulated, could hear the toilet flush from upstairs and next door very clearly as well as people talking/ corridors in this part of the "hotel" - without reception or any facilities - are grim, not renewed, hardly lit/ whirlpool is nice but no toilet there, you have to go down 90 steps to find the only one in the place/ expensive for what it is but then I guess this is typical for the places to stay in the old town. Unfortunately, although our room appeared nice and clean, it had beg bugs and we had bites all over our bodies and broke out in hives. We were very disappointed. The hotel was notified and they gave us one night for free. It is a little inconvenient to have to check in at a separate location. Afterwards you have to go outside and go to the hotel. Very small rooms. Also could not check in at the hotel we were staying in had to go around the corner. Washroom was clean however shower area was a little too small for my elderly parents and difficult for them to move in easily.
