Great hotel, very friendly staff, nice variety of food. Sign up for the loyalty card to get great benefits e.g. 50% off the Internet, free late check-out and more. Hotel for people who travel by car which is what we did (not ideal if you travel with public transport). Despite it being race day at Rosehill, the room we had was a very quiet one at the back of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good. The motel is very close to the Sports Centre and other facilities at Homebush Bay/Parramatta.
all reviews » I loved the room we had. we could park on site, taxi available at all times. Food (breakfast) was superb. Excellent staff and very clean and tidy and welcoming.. I loved the place. The parking was very satisfactory, we like our vehicle to be off the main roads when we are away. The whole stay was very pleasant and what we expected for the cost. The food was amazing and well priced, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the rooms were spacious and we had a lovley time would highly recommend them. Beds were comfy! Front register Staff in cafe/breakfast downstairs need to learn how to smile and look like they weren't forced to come to work! Food in cafe was average. No mirror in main area. Family of three girls one male and one bathroom, makes it harder to get ready. Room was a bit dated, could have had a bit of general maintenance in bathroom. Just one thing , perhaps upgrade rooms with a better tv. Being on the 5th floor and havin no workin air conditioning or access to an open window or fan, lots of dust in the vents of my room which is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel, expected foxtel for tv in our room for the price paid for one night stay. Very much disliked the water system in my shower, every minute or so my shower would turn extremely hot, unbearable to stand under until water returned to normal temperature, also found this unacceptable for the price paid!. Be nice to see a few more options with the tea and coffee in the room, plus hot chocolate and a complimentary biscuit. I don't think you need as many choices for the items to purchase though. 1 ply toilet paper, no air con for first 2 days then kicked in all of a sudden. Nothing at all. Not a big drinker but stayed 5 nights (including a Saturday night) and never saw the bar open. i did like every thing. toilet paper holder too close to toilet. that we couldn't stay longer. Needs a little freshen up. Nothing. The feather pillows and douners as my wife has an allery. Was requested that we have a synthetic bedding but not there when we arrived. old tiles/grouting in bathroom!. The bath shower was a little mouldy, but otherwise everything was clean and comfortable. It would have been nice to have cleaner windows to take photographs through - though to be fair, the cleaning of them could be part of the regular maintenance due soon... The spa could of been a bit warmer. Unable to get a park when the Caravan show is on because all the workers & visitors to the show who are not guests of the hotel decide they will park on private property. We had to call for someone to come and make the beds!. Nothing wrong , had a wonderful stay. only 1 power socket and far from the bed no vegetables in breakfast buffet internet not included in room price. The sofa lounge to sleep on. nothing. No fan in the bathroom. Calamari served as a main without salad or vegetables. Restaurant prices for breakfast were a bit high. The pool facility was not open. Didn't like that I couldn't open a window and have fresh air therefore I got sick. Airconditioning wasn't working that well. buffet and menu. I like to open windows fully. The cafe is too expensive mid week to eat at for the average family. After a long day at work and long trip in the car the last thing I felt like doing was walking down to the shop to get a meal. It would be far more convenient to have the ability to get some food at a decent price where you are staying. bathroom shower area could have been cleaner. Nothing. the heavy traffic outside is audible or unbearable from 5am onwards, not good. Not much.
