From the time we booked, there was good communication with the hotel, who arranged pick up from the station, after we arrived on the overnight train from Hanoi. We've arrived at the hotel in the morning after 14 hour train journey from Hanoi. We were picked up by a very nice hotel rep from the train station ($4) who carried our 2 backpacks to the hotel for us and refused our help. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed warmly by the staff and invited to have breakfast since we were early and our room was being prepared. It was such a nice touch, we didn't expect it at all!
