  Loved the location and the room was great! My boyfriend and I were traveling between here and New York so we thought it'd be more convenient booking a room that's attached to the airport on our last night. I really wish we booked our room here before our trip to New York (we spent three days in Boston, three days in New York and came back to Bosto... what people say » n for our flight back home). I read reviews that this was an ok hotel because of the location. But I really don't see the problem. You have access to - Being right in the airport is the sole reason for spending $300 for one (short)night's sleep. I was able to print my boarding pass at the computer station in the lobby. It made a huge difference to be able to turn in the rental car the night before, take the shuttle to the Hilton, and have a clean comfortable room in which to relax before our morning flights. Our window had a great view of brightly lit Boston- which for us was a treat. Room service was very quick and the server was very pleasan

  Hotel 140 was a great place to stay for me. I was traveling alone and it was located just a block from the train station. The front desk was great to help me in directions of the city. Very friendly staff. Also after I left and was at the train station having a hard time figuring out which way to go, a young man asked if he could help. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel.   Very personable staff especially the man working the checkout desk on 11 September during the day.I kept my bags with him and he was very accommodating. - The staff was very friendly. I had scheduled a late arrival. The front desk greeted me by name when I walked in the door after midnight. Impressive. Hotel is on train line into the city.
