  Great location across street from Retiro park. Room decor was much better in person than photos showed on the internet. Easy walk to central shopping,restaurants, and museums. Much better value than other hotels in this upscale neighborhood. The Ritz and The Palace just around the corner and are way more expensive -- the rooms at the Savoy Petit P... what people say » alace are not equivalent to those hotels, but still very nice in great neighborhood for 1/3 the price. - Fantastic hotel, overlooking retiro park. You heard no noise from other people staying in the hotel and the room was fabulous. Even had a laptop provided in the room with free wifi. Friendly staff and if you want to come back to the hotel at 6am they let you in no problem. Great location and a beautiful building, even the tourits on the tour bus took photos of the building! I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Central room divider worked very well felt like we had two rooms. Lovely central courtyard area too. Great location 10 minutes walk from the Gran Via. Receptionist Patricia was great! Maps, directions were provided. Parking is 5 min, metro is 0.50min, bus-stop for the city-tour is 10 min walk. Located on live square, but not noisy. Very pleased with expereince, pity we stayed over thier only 1 night.

  I stayed with 2 friends in the flat for a long weekend. It is excellent value for money compared to a hotel. The flat is very well equipped and very cool and modern.The location is just about perfect and also very close to the tube. There is a cheap supermarket nearby. All in all a fab place to stay but book quickly as we have recommended it to all our friends! - Very spacious and comfortable. A warm welcome by Catalin who gave us a map and pointed out sights and reminded us to keep safe from pickpockets. The apartment wasn't ready so we left our bags and went for a walk.   Room ok size, comfort acceptable, and has fully stocked kitchen. That last item is the important thing. Otherwise it is the location on the southern edge of a neighborhood in which the locals of madrid come to have afternoon/evening drinks in the many squares and dine in the many inexpensive yet really good restaurants. No luxury here and no atmos... what people say » phere, but the above two factors make it acceptable. - Location is excellent, very clean and modern look and feel, studio is well equipped, and the staff (when available) were very helpful, and allowed me to change rooms when I complained about the uncomfortable beds. Rooms have very individual styles and furnishing so it is not a standardized experience (this is good and bad). Overall, I had a very nice stay.

  The staff were friendly and competent. We lost the internet connection once and they fixed it when contacted.The location was excellent, a short walk away from museums, restaurants and bars.   Location is super for discovery Madrid. All attractions are within walking distance.Very welcoming and friendly staff. The breakfast was ample and tasty, especially Spanish ham with melon. The hotel is full of old-style, but in a modern deluxe apartments. The rooms are large and comfortable.   First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Second of all, the ratio quality-price was great taking into the consideration that my room was quite modern and I enjoyed the shower with hidromas... what people say » sage. The room was very clean and quiet. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

We arrived there earlier than the usual check-in time but as requested our apartment was ready and he allowed us to check-in early. The apartment is extremely centrally located. It is very accessible and was very clean and was equipped wi - I stayed with my 2 of my siblings and we loved the location. It was walking distance to many attractions and many restaurants. Our room was perfect. We had an interior room so, we never got any street noise at night. There was a grocery store 1 minute walk from the apartment, very convenient if on a budget. The one gentle man that we dealt with was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. We definitely stay there again.
