Modern, clean, fully equipped. Every service nearby, from Metro toministores. About 3mins walk to a 24hr taxi rank (handy for 5am airporttransfer). location was near great flamenco and jazz venues. The apartment was well kitted out, had nice decor and was clean.Excellent access to city center and layout of the apartment. Great location. Great price. Great facilities. All up it was a really nice place. We would definately consider going there again. all reviews »
Great location; easy to heat! Good reception/useful information from our 'meeter and greeter'. Facilities / modern design. The building is on a quiet street within five minutes of El Prado. There are many bars and restaurants within easy reach ranging from 'genuine' tapas bars and cervezerias to an Irish Pub (expensive and they didn't serve Guinness!!). The apartment has recently been renovated and we were very impressed with the amenities: small but well equiped kitchen including a dishwasher and a washing machine. Location. Staff very helpful.Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, the easy availability ofwireless internet connections, great locations. Central location, modern and functional. The apartment was very modern and very clean. It was also very close tothe Metro. There were many good restaraunts and stores near by as well.One can walk to the Parque del Retiro with small children. We were moved to Piamonte 1, as work was being done at Prado Apartments, Piamonte 1 was actually a bigger apartment, which was a nice bonus.Very clean, many facilities. The location is great, right in the heart of Madrid. The apartment was newly refurbished and has everything you could require. We stayed in December, it was freezing outside and we didn't even have to turn the heating on inside. We were given the keys and an explanation upon arrival and never had to see anyone after that.Good acomodations. Very central. Apartments well equiped. The facilities within the apartment is comprehensive.Good placement. Location was good and size of the apartment for 4 people but noisy on winter weekend nights, including fights on the street.It is noisy at night, but that's to be expected given its location. its a noisy street - but has to be expected in the very heart of the city. No clothes line, Flush button was absent in one of the bathrooms, bathroom sink did not drain properly leaving a bad musty smell and spotty internet connection. Instructions for the washing machine/dryer would have been good but we found them on the internet so that was ok. The basin in the bathroom slopes away from the plug so not all the water leaves. The pillows could be better.had alittle confusion over arrangemnets to get keys. Noise from other apartment, specially up stairs. There is nobody from the leasing company at the apartments so in an emergency you would need to travel to their office for assistance. There were no instructions to use the domestic appliances. We spent one very cold evening as the heating system was very difficult to work out if you weren't familiar with it.The bar revelers at 3am, as a consequence of its location there too manybars in the neighborhood. Noise from neighbouring bars continued till 7am. It's right next to a club which blast music all night long. If you are alight sleeper you will definitely not like sleeping here. We were luckythat we always came back very tired and fell asleep without a problem.The music was very loud. Much noice from bars in the street,. I would warn guests that the walls weren't the thickest, so I would only recommend this place if you want to fit into the Madrid Movida rhythm of things. You can hear music from the downstairs bar Thu (til 1am-ish), Fri and Sat (til about 3-ish) so if you're a light sleeper intent on going to bed early then this is not the place for you. Missing a parking place. The check-in procedure and process was unclear. It's not good to get money for late check-in (after 21:00) and the same for case if you left the key inside the room. No cleaning during 6 days stay and checkin/checkout procedures are very bad, mainly because of waiting and no place to leave luggage.

DIRECTIONS
Via metro, take Line 8 (pink) to Nuevos Ministerios. Change to Line 10 ( dark blue) and head in the direction of Puerta del Sur. Get off at Metro Tribunal and now change to line 1 (light blue) and head in the direction of Congosto finally you must get off at the Anton Martin station. Choose the Amor de dios exit. Once out of the metro station take C/Moratin and go straight and the third street to your left will be C/ Costanilla de los Desamparados, number 4 is located on the left.
From Atocha RENFE
Take Metro Line 1 (light blue) in direction of Plaza de Castilla and get off at Metro Anton Martin. Take the Amor de dios exit once out of the metro station take C/Moratin and go straight and the third street to your left will be C/ Costanilla de los Desamparados, number 4 is located on the left.
