  Location is super for discovery Madrid. All attractions are within walking distance.Very welcoming and friendly staff. The breakfast was ample and tasty, especially Spanish ham with melon. The hotel is full of old-style, but in a modern deluxe apartments. The rooms are large and comfortable. The cost of staying at the hotel is quite moderate. The atmosphere around t - 2 mins from Puerto del Sol (basically, its a center of the city) and Metro. Shopping area (el corte ingles). Elevator / Lift (I didn't use it). Air conditioner. 3 wifi spots for your choice (my modern tablet wasn't able to use the best AP, so i used the 2nd one and was happy.   First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Second of all, the ratio quality-price was great taking into the consideration that my room was quite modern and I enjoyed the shower with hidromas... what people say » sage. The room was very clean and quiet. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!

  Great location - close to everything for sightseeing and nightlife but a quiet street for sleeping/relaxing. We were in C Balsa - just a minute or two from C Cadiz and less than 5 minutes from Sol, Major, Anna etc. The apartment was 5th floor but had a lift to the 4th. Great to have the roof terrace. Centre of everything! Everything is within a mere 15mins away~ Person in charge - Carlos is a very humorous n friendly guy! Gave us v gd recommendations n also orientation of our surroundings. A Chinese saying goes: although a sparrow is small, it is sufficient n have everything.

  Absolutely loved everything about this place. On arrival the staff were incredibly helpful. The apartment was immaculately clean, very spacious for 5 of us, and of a high standard. We're approximately 10 metres from The main square and from the main night club where we spent our time!   - location near metro ( around 15-20 minutes to city centre), supermarket and local shops - apartment was large, clean and it was very comfortable - kitchen had full set of utensils so cooking yourself dinner was no problem - i can recommend it for anybody looking some place with very good comfort for attractive price - It is very close to Ciudad... what people say » Lineal metro station (Line 5) and other small shops etc. There are some restaurants, markets around it and also there is a Turkish restaurant very close to the apartment (Lazika). It's quite, clean, has a huge balcony (optional) and fully equipped kitchen. I got exactly what I need.

  The studio apartment was very good and over-looking the main tourist area. Yet it was not noisy as the air-conditioning and sound-proofing was good. The first day the studio was a hole-in the wall. But they apologised and cut a third of the room rent and moved us the next day. So when you book insist on the second floor apartment. - Perfect Locat... what people say » ion!!! Take earplugs if you are sensitive and want to sleep with open windows. Well equiped kitchen. Big and well equipped apartment .
