The owner was very helpful answering all my questions before we arrived and while we were there. We really appreciated him storing some luggage while we went to Venice for a few days. The location is great by the train station and still a convenient walk to the Duomo. The bed was firm, which I like, and room very clean. We had the pre-packaged breads for breakfast, but they also brought us tea/coffee, juice, yogurt, and apples, which was nice. It had a working elevator and wifi.

Very kind and helpful staff, specialy Boris who made us feel very welcome! We had clean and comfortable rooms with easy internet access. Very good value for the money and we surely would stay there once again. The hotel staff were very friendly, and they gave us directions around the city, plus helpful advice for local sight seeing. The hotel is located next to the train station - ideal for connections and day trips, and ten to fifteen minutes walk from the city centre. There's also a supermarket just around the corner. Loved it here. Lovely young man on reception did a walking tour on a map for us to follow. Fantastic! We didn't miss a thing and saw places we wouldn't have thought about looking for. Very secure and private accommodation. Close to train station and buses but very quiet. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable, especially after a long day of walking on cobblestone streets, and my room and the bathroom were immaculately clean. Not a complaint against the hotel - but Italian breakfasts can vary from place to place - croissants in packets and bread like biscuits - we got a variety of fruit with the breakfast, capuccino was good but no milk with the tea. I wasn't crazy about the external bathroom, as it was down the hall from my room. However, it was a private bathroom that no one else used and it was spotless. No view, if that's something you're into... Slightly dated room and bathroom, but not dramatically so. It can be noisy in the night. The hotel entrance is difficult to find. The noise in the street and the step to the bathroom. It is quite difficult to find the hotel. I like everything of it, lol. Poor inorganic breakfast(Cheese and salty things please), bathroom. This is only a small hotel, so don't expect the facilities you may get at a large hotel. But you are in Florence so you shouldn't be in your room for more than sleeping!. Oldish bathroom. The pictures of the rooms are not represent very well the rooms. In reality the room was old and the price is a little high for that room. 1)You must expect a basic breakfast. 2)A hairdryer is missing. 3) The check out so early in the morning. they are very nice to keep the luggage, anyway. Room is too small and old. Will choose other options with the same amount of money. My room was very small and not acustically isolated. On the door it is written "private". The "private externall bathroom" is in the hall and it is always opened. breakfast. Facility is not that good. The furniture is old. we paid 115euros for one night should be more like 35euros very very basic would not recommend it we paid less in 3star hotels in the same week. for this price, i would suggest getting a real hotel, plenty choices near train station.
