Hotel staff extrememly friendly, the receptionist was patient and happy for us to practice our Italian when speaking to her. When we couldn't get our tv switched on, this was fixed immediately. Our huge room was on the second floor and while the room was basic, it had a modernised style and was lovely and clean. Free internet access and literally 5 mins from the train station. Will definitely stay here again.

Will definitelly stay there again and will recommend it to all our friends. The location was great, short walking distance from the train station and we could walk to most things in Florence. The TV did not get BBC World Service or CNN, so it was difficult to stay in touch with world news.it would be better to have more choise for the breakfast (eggss, toasts etc). bad(drain) smell in the bathroom, which looked like new, since it was recently renovated. We reported at the reception and the next day it was cleared out. However, toward the evening each day the smell came back, less strong like the first day. One more thing: the pillows were unconfortable.Breakfast was basic. The bathroom. Small room but normal for Europe, tiny shower, wi-fi connection in my room was extremely weak and frequently cut me off and wasn't strong enough to support a skype call or messenger. My only criticism would be that the bed was a little hard and the walls seemed a little thin.Can't be improved, but the area wherein it is installed is a drawback for selecting the hotel. rooms not sound proof. It had an obscure entrance and had a tacky reception.
