Very good hotel. Near the center of Florence. We stayed here with friends for 5 nights. There is a railway station near the hotel. We arrived to Bologna e Pisa from here. The room was for 3 persons, simple but comfort. There was a kettle, tea, towels, an iron we took on the reseption. Breakfasts were normal. This hotel is very good choice for people who don't want to spend a lot of money for accommodation during the traveling.
all reviews » The location is good because it's near the central station and just 10 minute walk to the duomo. The room was clean and comfortable and the staffs were very nice. Friendly staff. Nothing!. The breakfast is not really delicious and boring, there werent many choices of bread. Although it didn't affect my stay, the room was a bit run-down. They did however paint the stairwell, while I was there. shower was a shower curtain, and a drain. budget accom so was OK but space to sit on toilet properly would have been great!. Bathroom drain overflowed.... Room was threadbare; has seen best days. Aircondition didn´t work properly and the night was really nigthmare. Breakfast was poor; we weren`t even the last ones but we didn´t get almoust anything. Two or three ladies (stuff) were walking around but they ignored us and lacks of table. Cons: noise from the air conditioner. Very old room with leaking water in bathroom, extremely noisy AC which worked only after some effort from staff , change of room after 1st night. The first room showed has its floor covered with water, maybe from heavy rain on the previous night. They were happy to change the room to another one with numerous mosquitoes marks on the wall. A few live ones were spotted. A bit disquisting but we ended up with no mossie problem with the air cond on all night. mold on the ceiling, smells musty, the room feels dirty, slow internet in public zones only. the room was in the process of being decorated but as it was a last minute change we were very thankful, although we both got insect bites in the room. The hotel is very old and definitely requires major repair. There is smell on the floors. old of hotel. An old building with very small room and bath. Furnishing of the room and bath was old and hardly working. You don't get the value of money you pay. Bathrooms were extremely small and lacked amenities. No hair dryers. Walls were thin, therefore noisy building. Of all the lodging we had in 4 weeks in Europe this hotel was the most disappointing. Room was dirty, and bed was uncomfortable and noisy . Bathroom was tiny , you couldn't sit on the toilet normally as there was no leg room, shower had a regular light hanging over it , dangerous . Television in the room did not work at all. Wardrobe wouldn't close, hangers were a collection of what had been left behind by other visitors I.e . Disney, m&s etc. shabby room, broken sockets, not tasty breakfast, uncomfortable bath. - Wifi performance - Air conditioner works noisy,there is not enough place inside - No cheap parking close to the hotel,the cheapest one is 30euro/day. Confort, heating not working. noisy, bad bed, bad breakfast. Very very dirty, shower curtain had 6inch deep mould, light didn't work, shower was broken, breakfast was shockingly bad, need I say more!. Room was like a store room No facilities in the room. lack of cleanliness, poor hygiene, smelly rooms, leaking floors and roof , no wifi & poor breakfast. Basically everything else. Bed bugs in my first room Tv fridge shower air con did not work. It was filthy, cockroaches in the hallway, no ac, bathroom was dirty, electrical outlets not working, dangerous, and a safety hazard. I did'n like all.
