First the hotel location is really good and convenient, just about 50m from the Sheung Wan mtr station and 5mn by foot from Central (airport express connection) and ferries terminal (Shenzhen, Macao...). The counter part is that some rooms (with single beds) are really noisy because directly located on Connaught Road central which has a huge traffic day and night. Good earplugs are necessary. If the hotel can provide free usage of washer and dryer like Tapei City Inn, I will rate the facilities as Excellent. The only "breakfast" is some sweet bread and the/coffee at the top floor. This is not a complaint, since the hotel does not claim that there is a proper breakfast and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. Breakfast was a bit limited. However we didn't even realise that it included breakfast. it was cold and rainy when visiting Hong Kong... The room was very cold.. I asked about the heat I was told there is no heat.. If I would like they would provide me with the heat which I was happy to accept; what they did not tell me it was a HK$300 charge for the heater...don't stay there if it's not summer... I was wondering about the smell which was the main point in previous comments, Yes there is a smell but, it is not in the rooms, and it is not that disturbing. Asked staff for taxi service to the airport and they informed me to walk round the block for the service. Nil assistance provided...Road surfaces were wet and uneven. Breakfast items consist of hot beverage, packet croissants and apples..nothing fancy.. Breakfast is poor, but it is really enough to start your day - find something more authentic in the streets. nothing. The gym was pitiful and if you are looking for a full breakfast you wont find it here. No iron board in the room. A free shuttle would be nice. It is a fair hike from the ferry with luggage. Breakfast can get more choice and inprovement. No. Just a bit pricey for the facility. Can skip the breakfast. Serious wifi failures, I mean serious...and the sound of a rooster crowing in the a/c or water pipes in the roof above me...i think it was the pipes, every time somebody turned on a tap or used the bathroom...either that or someone had a rooster in their room!.
