Location - close to MTR (2 min), restaurants, interesting things to explore and a couple of great places for awesome coffee, oh and a french cheese and wine shop! Room was spacious for HK, bath was brilliant, quality fittings/toiletries and towels. Little things like umbrella and slippers had been thought of. Kitchenette was ideal. Loved storage under bed as well. Laundry facilities plus provision of laundry bag and powder were just what I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful when I had any .
all reviews » In all of our combined 30 plus years of travelling, this is up there with the best of any hotel we have stayed at. Only 6 months old, Italian architect designed and with a perfect finish and superb attention to detail. This is urban chic at its finest. Rooms are very generously proportioned for hk, and even have discreet kitchens. The lack of restaurant or gym is no big deal, as with such a great location in Central, everything is bang on your doorstep. Faultless. I love the building with its floor-to-ceiling windows, chic grey colour, modern equipment and almost everything you will need. The bed was comfortable and we had a good view of the neighbourhood. It's easy to move around from there, there are eating places and the tram/mtr nearby, I always like it when we get L'Occitane products in the bathroom, the only thing missing was sanitary bags. This hotel is a hidden gem in Hong Kong the location is within easy access to an MTR station. The rooms are large and well equipped for a Hong Kong hotel. I requested a room with a tub but was put into a shower room, I brought the situation to the attention of the friend deaths and the problem was corrected immediately. Emphasis on the in-room experience, such as simmon mattress, loccittane toiletries, and etc than luxury lobby & other common area of hotels. Business friendly & located in a strategic location. A wonderful place to stay. Clean, new, roomy, very secure and located in a good area that was loaded with restaurants, and many small businesses. On my next trip, I will stay at this facility again. Great appartment hotel, wish i could find something like this in every city i have stayed. New, well designed, fast wifi you can actualy work with, free washing machine use and mini kitchen, fantastic!. The rather long wait at the lifts, and the fact that they couldn't cancel your deposit immediately when you check out, I still do not know if they have done it 4 days after check out. The only downside is and this is the same with most Hong Kong hotels is that there was no pool but apart from that excellent service. Maybe a slight improvement to the lobby area. no view to speak of but not important for me. Can hear noise from hallway, but since only 3 apartments per floor, hardly a problem, as it's pretty quiet otherwise. Gym room a bit small. Nothing to complain about. No breakfast, but that was not a problem around that location. The lobby and check in. Maybe a restaurant in the hotel will be good, but you also have a lot of restaurants around the hotel. So not to big deal. Did not like the austere lobby. Cold (literally but also in design - too sparse). Building is facing towords the Mountain, not towards sea side. Hence, views are limited. Gymfacilities were too small to be called a gym. Only crosstrainers and treadmills available. Lack of a proper business center Lack of a facility whereby taking a shower after checking out. The room smels a bit due to very new furniture (which probably was made not in Italy :)) Hotel have no bar, nothing nearby and minibar in room was also not available Despite the fact what hotel seems either new either just renovated, Airco system was making big noise at night - was difficult to fall asleep. The location got a little trick and have a problem to find it. No shower curtain. Lift wait time. One night the telephone started to ring around 3 AM and could not be silenced. I took it to reception on the ground floor and the staff member on duty could not turn it off. The following day I asked to speak with the manager to discuss some form of compensation and was told he worked off site and he would contact me. I did not hear from him. Reception staffs are friendly, however the front desk (lobby) service availability could be improved. first night - no hand soap or bath rug and so I had to buy my own, thinking that they did not provide this. Also, not enough trash cans. Lastly, I got 4 big bug bites from the room. The wifi kept switiching of every 5 mins, not good if doing buisness. There was a terrible smell from the toilet (sewer), common from HK high rises - it was very strong. Needs fixed. i recommend stay here if this is fixed.
