the hotel location is great, close to Sheung Wan Station (1 min) , macao ferry terminal (5min) and hong kong airport express (if take taxi 5min). Outside the hotel is the famous Chinese medicine street, and walk 5 min, there is a lot of local coffee shop. We plan to go macao, thought that Kowloon area is close, and to airport is convenient, but not advise to stay Kowloon, cos there is no connection between the MRT. Next station from Sheung Wan is Central station, from here, can go to any p.
all reviews » There are some fantastic features about Mingle On The Wing. The rooms were very comfortable, and somewhat larger then I had expected to find in Hong Kong. The bed was lovely, the amenities were very good and the hotel staff cleaned the rooms very well. Entertainment wise Mingle On The Wing offers an incredibly large selection of movies to watch free of charge, with a selection ranging from classics such as 'The King and I' to much more recent films like 'The Avengers' and 'The Hobbit'. The TV i. Our twin room at Mingle on the Wing was small but space was imaginatively used to provide comfort & the practical facilities for a short stay. Staff were very welcoming & efficient, & most helpful with information about Hong Kong public transport, luggage storage. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the Central metro station, Exchange bus station, ferries, waterfront & colorful shopping. Personally i was delighted with my stay at the Mingles. Although space is a constraint which i have no issues with, it is equipped with state of the art in-room lighting control. The rooms are also armoured with vast selections of movies of every genre (including adult themes) and music in its library. Overall, it was a great stay at an even exceptional location. Thumbs up!. I stayed at mingle on the wing and mingle by the park and mingle on the wing was superior by far. Smaller but cleaner, more modern and better kept. And the staff bent over backwards to help. If you can't get mingle on the wing apparently mingle at the garden of Eden (I think it's called) is more central and even has its own bar to use. Apparently it is just as good. Had to book this in a rush as our flight was cancelled for 3 days due to a typhoon which meant we had to hole up in our room for one night. It couldn't have been better with a huge flat screen TV and all the latest movies for free we had soon forgotten about the weather. Location is great seconds walk to metro and lots of food and drink places on the door step. The room was tight but very well organized. And you get a toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, comb, shampoo and basically everything you would ever need in a hotel room (including karaoke with a decent stereo system!). The hotel is situated in the centre of the Hong Kong island. Many attractions are within walking distance. Located 100m from the mtr exit, which is very convenient, avoiding you to walk several streets with a heavy luggage and be lost most of times when one doesn't know the location. Fast Free Wi-Fi. I will definitely return to that hotel in my next trip. Pretty cheap hotel considering it's Hong Kong. The single rooms are a bit cramp but at the price, it is reasonable. One block from metro station and being in Sheung Wan, it is quite a bit more quiet than neighbouring Wan Chai or Central. very near MTR station, ferry, very accessible. Hotel is clean with comfortable beds. Although space is a bit small, it's bearable. Nice interior rooms considering the small space. I would definitely consider to stay in this hotel again. while the room was tiny, you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into the layout of the room. the bed was very confortable and the washroom a fair size. i would stay there again as a business traveller as just an overnight stay. There were very few issues that we had with Mingle On The Wing, the only thing that really pops to mind is that the lift was sometimes a little temperamental, and the stairs were a little bit grubby. Not like its a perfect stay but no faults that i can think of, really. Nothing. I felt the room needed a bit of TLC for the price and a good dusting but that maybe being picky. The Ac wasn't cold enough or wasn't sufficient for the room. The room is small but it didn't bother me at all, you can expect big room for such a reasonable price, otherwise you take a 4stars hotel. The smallest rooms are a bit cramped but for one person it is manageable. not so much shops in the sheung wan area. you need to go to Central for major shops. for the value. it was all reasonable. Our friends we introduced to the hotel stayed in room 201 which was bigger than ours 203 and later 403. (Not too bothered about this as our rooms were very comfortable). Small bathroom, only HongKong-type wall sockets. when we ready to check out, the lift sudd not work, and we have to use the staris, but lucky that the staff is good, help ur to carry our luggage . lucky is check out, not check in ~. breakfast offer. The room a bit small. no breakfast service few TV channels in English did not find the Ipod plug. The remote controls dont work very well, so unable to watch all the movies, DVD etc which was offered, even though the staff tried to fix it. Can't fault anything!. Room is small, but good for budget. Very cramped! Spilt a jug of water everywhere because I couldn't find where to plug the kettle in. But overall this is still a good hotel. Small room. Rooms were very small. Not really near shopping area. Shower temperature was a nightmare, freezing cold or red hot. Very small room, which is not unusual in HK. room is small.
