This apartment was really very comfortable and practical for my needs. Just over a 5 minute walk from the central station and about 7 minutes from the Dom and central Cologne, it is really very handy. The apartment itself is on a quiet side street, so traffic is not an issue. The kitchenette is well-equipped and the main room is nicely decorated. I especially enjoyed having a little terrace which looks onto an internal courtyard with a couple of nice trees and many birds singing. I even manage.
all reviews » The location of the apartment was very easy to find and within 75mts of the river,500 mts of the railway station,the area was very quiet away a short distance from the town,with a bakery,quiet bar and corner shops very close by.The apartment was secure ,warm and clean with a very small kitchen area but good enough to prepare a small meal if you needed to.I would use the same apartment if I return to this city it is ideal for a short city break or a work related trip.The internet access is very. The location and the place itself sind excellent ! I wish I could have stayed longer than just one day. All confortable and spotless clean. Very good Internet connection included. Very close to all the main attractions, the apartment was clean and rather well equipped, very good wi-fi. The owner was nice, even though we didn't get to meet her personally. Very nice place, clean, close to center, 5 min walk to Koln Dom. Although I had telephone and e-mail contact with the owner/agent before arriving in Germany with very precise instructions with regard to location and access to the apartment keys.I had no contact personal or otherwise during my three day stay,a welcome phone call or a visit would have been welcomed. A bit hard to find since it is not an Hotel and there is no sign. Look for the building n.5 and for a key inside a black box that is a bit stuck to open. You get an e-mail with a code to use and then get the proper key to open the doors. The trash wasn't taken out before us, in fact it was almost full. Also, be careful with the shower in apartment II, if the water hits the walls you'll end up flooding the bathroom. The apartment was on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. Kitchen was a tad too small. Still, it was quite well-equipped for such a small space. No dishwasher, though. Getting in and out of shower a bit of a tight squeeze though shower itself very good. Need to fiddle a bit with TV ariel to get a good signal. Hand held shower. Faulty kitchen kettle. bed is too soft. Small and dark WC, haven't light on ceiling. Cold floor with tile on all apartment. Small kitchen. .
