It was good value for money and so close to the train station. We stayed for 4 nights at the hotel Berg, our room (no.22) was clean andbright, with a window facing a quiet backyard. The double room is quitespacious and the hotel staff did their best in making up the room everyday. The shared shower room was just right outside of our door. Oh andthe location is terrific! It is only 5 minute walk from the main trainstation and the river side.all reviews »
Value for money. Location in relation to Railway Station and centre of Cologne. close to train station , Room was clean and tidy. very good location. very good value for the price. That it was close to the fair grounds. the neighbourhood of the station. Location, Breakfast, Staff. Location. Location and quiet. 5 min from central station. Nice and close to train station. Very good location near the train station. At the end stuff was more and more friendly but the first impression was bad. But we liked very very much centraly location.I never had a chance to stay there - I paid, left my bags there, but didnot sleep one night there. RNothing .very very poor choice indeed. near the center. The breakfast buffet was of a very good quality, but they serve the samemenu every day.Extremely hard mattresses. Even though I offered to pay for the breakfast charge of my guest , they did not let me to have the breakfast with my guest.main stair carpets very old. reception staff spoke no english when we checked in, managed ok but could have been a bit tricky. There is not so much space in the hotel rooms especialy in the shower.But it was good fror 4 days. No lift!! (hard to carry suitcase). Room smelt of smoke even though non smoking room requested. Uncomfortable beds and pillow. Prepayment. Early check in isn't possible. Breakfast at 6.00 am isn't possible. Breakfast was poor, manager looked to hands what and how much you ate.Dont arrive early as they have no place to store your luggage and man on reception didnt really care so had to store stuff at train station. The room was smelly and it was deffinatelly not worth the money even thou we got special price. Even if we did not take the room with the bath it does not mean it has to be that way like that one deffinately and unfortunately was. But anyway this is just overnight stay and did the job.The hotel took my money, and when I failed to pick up my bag on the lastday, charged me **again** even though I never stayed one minute in thehotel...and they"kidnapped" my bag until I paid the extra night - thegerman police were involved...not good...i would not recommend thishotel for letsbookhotel.com clients. Not at all aworth for money .I suggest a good portal like your,s mustcheck the hotel details of any type before hosting on your website .apoor choice for money -----indeed. rooms are tiny and with few facilities, garages are very small and only 4 places, no elevator for the 3rd floor brekfast with little choice.

Kreuz Köln-Ost (Cologne East):
From the cross Cologne East please follow the signs to the KölnMesse, but please pass the KölnMesse and cross the river by the Zoobrücke. On the bridge please prepare to turn right to the exit "Zentrum" (Center). In this exit please use the two middle lanes to come on the Rheinuferstraße (in the direction Center "Zentrum"). Please follow this street around 2 km until you turn right to the "Bahnhof - Breslauer Platz" (Station - Breslauer Platz). At the second traffic light turn right and the second street left. This street is the Brandenburger Straße.
Kreuz Köln-Süd (Cologne South):
From the cross Cologne South please follow the sign "Zentrum / Rheinufer". You follow this street until you did pass a tunnel (the Rheinufertunnel). Behind the tunnel turn left to the "Bahnhof - Breslauer Platz" (Station - Breslauer Platz). At the second traffic light turn right and the second street left. This street is the Brandenburger Straße.
