There were 6 in our group so we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The suit was clean and comfy and the full kitchen was a nice surprise. The suite had a great fireplace too, it was almost a shame that we couldn't use it in summer but I imagine after a days skiing it would be lovely in winter!. Excellent position, easy access to Whistler Village. Large suite, very clean - loads of space, helpful staff, nice balcony, brilliant outdoor hot tubs and pool. Convenient indoor garage. Probably good value for money looking around Whistler as a whole.
all reviews » Beds were super comfy, the pool and hot tubs were steamy and warm on a cold drizzly day, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The layout of our 2-bedroom suite was nice and roomy and the location of the hotel is really good. Apart from the seemingly unnecessary outrageous prices charged for accommodation in Whistler (guess what... Compared to other places in the world Whistler is not all it's cracked up to be) this accommodation was excellent overall. This is an older property at Whistler, but well maintained, suites were spacious. Well equipped kitchens The location is excellent close to the Westin Hotel and about 10 minutes walk into the village centre. Was every impressed with the deluxe suit. Housekeeping actually washed and cleaned up the kitchen for us-they didn't have to but it was an extremely kind act. Great value -would come back and stay again. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were big and did not feel like we were crunched in. We are going to make tantalus lodge a regular on our list. Had an amazing experience, my friends and I were upgraded for no charge to a better suite. We all had an amazing time and are definitely coming back. The sofa bed my husband and I shared was a good size and clean but a little old and uncomfortable. No bar. En-suit and second bedroom doors locked in the suite to reflect two-person occupancy.This was the only hotel we stayed in anywhere in Canada that charges for wifi - everywhere else was free. Car park charges also seemed steep, more than we paid in central Vancouver, though there is no free parking near enough to drag cases. Upper floors being 'renovated'? Once a very luxurious venue but looking a little tired. The carpet was rippling in the hallway of our suite and it was HOT on the top floor despite the fact that we turned our heat off. I guess the heat from the rooms below came up but we had to sleep with the windows open in November. The bathrooms could do with a little upgrading, such as low flow toilets and newer showers, but it was adequate and great for families. They didn't have any extra dvd players left tried several times to use the internet of several different devices--even went to the front desk about the problem--there was no end resolution/was not able to access the internet all weekend. Nothing. Fireplace in amenities but didn't specify that you had to buy logs, should be a gas fireplace. No barbecue available. Kitchen supplies were minimal and needed replacement. $18 per night parking fee; decor of suite rather tired. décor is a little dated. Bit of a walk from slopes (and uphill). Cleaners used in elevator were too strong - left odor. could use furniture upgrades. only one TV bathrooms need update. No food available on site eg. Breakfast would have been good!. Needs an update in terms of looks in terms of looks and rooms. Charge too much to park a car. I can hear next room and I think the sofabed has bbedbugs.i stayed 2 night and sincr second day all my body itchy and red dots everywherw. Hot pool facilities need renovations. the unpleasent smell from Microwave, I think it is the problem caused by prior client who has over cooked their meal.
