We liked everything about the hotel and especially the location. It was just next to the lifts and right in downtown. There was full equiped kitchen and fireplace. Though it was small, it was an appartment. The space and abilitiy to have friends over for a glass of wine was perfect. I loved the location of where it is in regards to the "village stroll" right in the heart of it all.

The reception was not in the same building so we had to check in and check out like 100 meters from the hotel. Staff of the hotel was really unhelpful regarding our questions and we had to deal with all problems thru phone with our reception. A little bit of animositiy with the front desk when I arrived and was informed that they couldn't help me I had to go across the way and find the other desk. The check in process was a little goofy.....as we were not in the "mountain"side but the "Inn & Suites". Also had to walk across alley to pool, but no big woop. The check-in process is a little awkward but not a huge problem. room is a bit small imo. the bed is not a really bed but a sofa bed. Friday night can get noisy since its very close to the village. The confusing part of two companies running one hotel The ridiculous lights that are on all night for "Health and safety" reasons when other lights could be placed lower down away from the hotel windows. Combined with the lack of proper blinds to block out these light made it very hard to fall to sleep. NEEDS to be fixed before i would stay there again. rug was not well vacuumed shower water handle broken and difficult to adjust for a decent shower. Issue with a/c in first room but were room moved, then following morning shower didnt work - issues with plumbing. Toilet kept plugging up. A few odd quirks, ie having to check in at a different hotel (and go somewhere else again to park). Once past those, all fine. parking was expensive, staff never really said hi coming into the hotel, having to check in at a different hotel and out at a different hotel. I didn't enjoy having to go to another hotel with all my bags just to check in when I had already walked all the way to the mountainside!. sauna of the top floor makes the room really hot and without the window it is hard to get rid of the heat. the confusion about where to book in. couldnt open the windows. Should incorporate better directions for checkin .Village Stroll address is a walk up vs driving .must check in in one spot drive to another to go to room. Need separate map and communication for check in. We were put into the executive hotel opposite main hotel first and were not at all happy, it was dark and smelly. The manager marina was very professional and helpful and she transferred us to the mountainside hotel where we had great accommodation and a lovely stay. Thin walls,could hear neigbors. the check in out process. you had to go to another hotel to register. This hotel had bought a couple of floors in another hotel (the one we stayed in) but did not "man" a desk there so you have to go somewhere else to register. It is only across the street- 5 minute walk but still found it weird. Check in, in another building $20 to park but parked beside hotel, unloaded and then parked in "lot 4" for free. Swipe card a tad difficult to use for garage and room. Terrible noisy outside. Yelling, scouting and laughter untill 3o'clock in the morning. Noisy refrigerator!. Steps mid floor can be tricky in darkened room as was the situation when we arrived. Check-in confusing with accommodation in different building. Bed is a stow away type and uncomfortable. Having to check in /out in different building. Having to register/check-in at one location, but actually stay in a different building was inconvenient, if not out right silly! The cleaning staff did not leave an extra role of toilet paper and inevitably we ran out. On the day we arrived, the 'goodie box' of convenient food was missing several of the selections we would have chosen and those and the ones we did consume were never replenished during the 3 days we were there. A Murphy bed with a futon mattress! Terribly uncomfortable. Almost no toilet paper in the bathroom. No coffee. Dishes in the dishwasher. The staff were not very friendly. I barely saw a smile out of any of them even when they screwed up our booking, their apology was not genuine. We could tell the bathtub and was not clean and the room was very dusty. We called for housekeeping numerous times and they never came. The windows did not open and the locals were very loud and kept us awake each night. Shockingly filthy, noisy, in need if refurbishment.
