Finally a 10 10 for location - room 701 looks out at the ski lifts 50 yards away 10 for staff 10 for room. Full fridge, living room with island, fire place, heated bathroom floors with extra large tub, very clean and new. I paid more than twice this price in Vancouver last night for 1/2 the room We travel a lot and best room ever for all factors included Fabulous summer too. 1,000 bmx riders are coming down the ski runs. We zip lined across a beautiful river several times with the longest almos.
all reviews » Beautiful Hotel, suitable for families and couples, beautiful spacious rooms and well-equipped, large bedroom, huge and comfortable bed. Amazing view of the mountain from the seventh floor where we slept. Great location in the village within minutes you can reach restaurants, shopping, the gondola is just a step from the hotel, Professional and friendly staff gave us a response to every question and every need. Will definitely go back again. The room was really spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for making meals and coffee - even a dishwasher and microwave. It was perfect for staying with a baby because we could make our own meals and sandwiches for the days hiking. The Grocery Store was open till late even on a public holiday. location is one of the best in Whistler. Right beside the mountain so where you want to be for the daytime a nice and quiet at night for a good night's sleep. We opted for mountain view rooms - great views and pointing away from village so added to peacefulness at night. It was a perfect location, staff were great, very helpful, Nick at reception especially. Was just the perfect location and had so much to offer right at the doorstep. Perfect for us! We didn't realize our trip would overlap this event which attracted many younger people - who partied well into the morning hours. Not really the Sundial's fault, but it would have been helpful if someone had informed us. We may have opted for a room on the other side for a more restful night. It seemed a little pricey given that we were staying in October, after the summer holidaymakers had gone and before the skiiers had arrived (breakfast not included and parking extra), but we knew the deal when we went there and respect the commercial decision of the owners. There were absolutely no nasty surprises, and we were well served from start to finish. Small parking area, slow elevators. Liked everything!. non. Nothing. The sliding door to the deck wouldn't latch or lock. Our room was cleaned even though we had the "Do not disturb" sign out. Having only booked 3 nights at this great hotel. No bar or restaurant but there were many very close by. Parking charges, but that is the norm in Whistler. A handheld showerhead in the bath would be our only recommendation for improvement. Need to upgrade the hot tub and area. 2 night min stay. Nothing. Everything was great. N/A. nothing. Pool across street.
