Fantastic location with the beach literally a stones throw away and perfect sea views from all windows. Super friendly, accommodating and helpful front desk staff providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Clean and comfortable apartment with all the basic amenities needed when travelling as well as proper kitchen facilities. the staff were very friendly and made us more than welcome. They allowed us an early check in which made our stay even more enjoyable as we had travelled seperatley to meet up at Olympus for a short stay. I would commend the staff on their excellenct customer service.
all reviews » Our stay at Olympus was very enjoyable. Great view, comfortable bed, well set up rooms and kitchen. Although the building is older, everything works well and is neat and clean. Just a short walk to the centre of Surfers. Would love to stay there again. Right on the beach, Close to Cafes, shops etc. Perfect for a couple very quiet and private. 5-10 minute walk to all attractions. Not a big hotel very basic but decent sized apartments, modern/updated. Beach view from all balconys. The view to the ocean from the balcony. The air conditioning is not needed at all with the nice breeze blowing from the ocean every evening. Very good location. The general impression is good. I would stay there again. I have no complaints, fantastic staff fab location, ten min walk to shops, food, bars cross the road to beach, apartment facilities fab, I will be booking there again in the future. Big 5 star from me. It was so close to the centre of Surfer's Paradise. There was a patrolled beach right out the front door. The view was fantastic. The staff were wonderful and friendly. No air conditioning, Bar or Restaurant but no big deal. Internet access is not stable and hence not reliable. Some days it did not work at all. No rump for strollers to the main entrance which is high. So had to climb upstairs carrying my kid in the stroller on hands. The option of entering through the car park in the basement did not inspire me. A little run down - could do with an little update - but you get what you pay for. Decor inside unit is a little dated. Couch was old and uncomfortable in lounge room. Could do with a bit of a renovation. Stairs leading up to reception was a hassle when u have heavy luggages n strollers. External of windows badly need cleaning. Spring matresses very poor. Both toilet doors could not lock. Unit looking tired. Needs freshing up with a coat of paint. The shower was extremely small. The microwave not working properly - turntable didn't turn. there was nothing i didnt like. Bit noisy with traffic because of location Sofa covers bit grubby. I wasn't 100% happy with the room as it didn't seem to be cleaned properly. There was sand still on the tiles, which I had to sweep as it was very uncomfortable. Nothing to report here. Toilet had a bit of a smell every time it was flushed. Fan in bedroom didnt work. Only thing i can think of is they need a spa. Nothing. My bed was to hard. Bath Rooms are old. No cleaning. It was not 'thoroughly' cleaned. I did not believe the photos on the internet were an accurate feel of the accomodation. Noisey, no air con. Dirty walls. Whole place appears run down. Lack of cleaning products. The level of apartment is level 1, little bit noisy in the night~. Slightly dated decor. Not enough facilities at the apartment for bad weather days. Nothing. Kitchen not very well equipped. We didn't appreciate carpet laying in the room above at 7am in the morning. Nor did we appreciate a crane in the living room at 6am the next morning. Not happy and when we approached the receptionist on both mornings she just smiled and said nothing to do with her. Customer service is pathetic but its cheap and reasonably ok. The unit needed some refurbishing, everything was a little jaded. The unit was very dated and needed some attention cleanliness wise. old worn out funiture,old decore, the shower to small and unappealling, old tiles, rusted light fiitings, rusted dinning table, kictchen old. No air conditioning. Dated and worn, but considering the room rate per night this is reasonable. The Apartment we stayed in was small needs to be renovated. Very dated apartment with no air conditioning and felt old. Kitchen appliances very old and fridge rusty. Door to our balcony did not shut. Dirty old. The apartment can't meet requirement which we wished staying above 7 level. No wi-fi. Very disappoint. The photos on the booking page where nothing like the unit. It was very old and very dirty. I asked for the room I booked and they said it was not available. I would not use this service again. Margret on the front desk was nice but she didn't take my request to get what I paid for seriously.

Olympus Apartments are ideally located opposite the famous Surfers Paradise patrolled beaches with only 2 minutes walk to the centre of Surfers Paradise, where you will discover tourist attractions, fine dining and superb shopping. It's everything you need for your holiday. Where better to stay than opposite 'The World's Best Beach'? Nominated as "the world's best beach" by the 'Travel Channel' awards, Surfers Paradise lives up to its name. All you need to do is walk out the front door of Olympus Apartments and you are there. Free beach volleyball competitions offer fun while the nearby cafes and shopping areas make it easy to take a break with an ice-cream. Just off the beach is Cavill Avenue with shops and plenty of dining options. Surf safety is a high priority, and swimming at unpatrolled beaches is discouraged. The Gold Coast City Council employs the largest professional lifeguard staff in Australia who patrol 17 beaches on a year round basis and 29 beaches during school holiday periods. In addition, volunteer members of the Surf Life Saving Association patrol beaches every weekend on the Gold Coast from September to May.
