  The staff was helpful. The restaurant was good. It's in a nice location. Though it's outside of the city centre it was right across the street from a shopping center so that was very convenient. When we checked in we were giving a room on the 3rd floor when I went up I realised there was no bath in the room which for my son is essential so I asked at reception if we could be changed and they changed us to the 5th floor straight away which I was very grateful for. Al... what people say » so we had a long day out on the Saturday and didn't return to the hotel until 11:30 that night, we were hungry so I asked reception if they could send - We only stayed for one night as we had tickets for the Peter Gabriel concert at the Phones4U Arena. The hotel was perfectly situated for both the arena and access to all the delights Manchester shopping and culture has to offer - and we would not have known there was a National Museum of Football in the country if we hadn't scanned the helpful literature placed in our room. This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the railway station and two minutes from the centre of Manchester and you will go through or past canal street on the way - The staff were so helpful and nothing too much trouble for them. We especially liked the idea that breakfast was served until 12.00am on Sunday morning and there was a late checkout time of 1.00pm. As we were suffering the effects of the night before, we rang room service, around 10.00am, to ask if we could have breakfast brought to our room. This was no problem and at no extra cost.
