Hotel was very warm and felt very welcome. The Staff were Top Class, Excellent. Everything was excellent.all of it...!. From the moment you walk in your feel welcome. The pool and spa area are very relaxing and all the staff very friendly. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The location is great, easy to walk around the city centre.Very helpful, friendly staff who were a credit to their manager!! The guy on the desk even remembered us the morning after and asked about our night. comfort, cleanliness, location, reception staff were lovely. Luxurious room, lovely bathroom and very stylish bar!. just what you would want from a 5star hotel. easy access to city centre. Room; room service. friendly atmosphere on arriving receoption staff were excellent going that little bit out of there way to help you, by showing me to the lift and how to use my card and following up with a phone call to see if everything was okay. it was a really nice touch. Overall Feel Of The Hotel was very Good, and good location. The hotel situation for the City centre attractions. service and staff friendliness. room was above expectations. staff attentiveness.customer service and staff in Opus restaurant in the evening and the meal in the evening. Comfortable room and bed. Bathroom is big with nice makeup table.Staff and facilities very good and central location. location , room, staff,. A nice comfortable relatively luxurious. just quiet and nothing special really. Easey access to GMEX. Easy for access to G Mex fantastic rooms extremely clean friendly bar staff. The room, room service, reception staff and decor. The location. location. Very nice hotel. 3 phone calls from reception on the morning we were leaving, one at 9.30, 10 and 10.30 - just one ring but no one there when you pick up, is this to remind you to get up and leave by 11am! and is this really necessary? not enough milk for the coffee and no biscuits!!. Bar prices was very high £3.73 for a pint of carling. We got hardly any sleep because of the loudness of the entertainment. Typical for a 4/5 star Hotel In-House Prices were too high stopping you eating or drinking in the hotel (eg £6.50 for a glass of wine). No iron in the rooms!. My room is near to pub area, so it's rather noisy at night. This is quite unacceptable for a 5 star rating hotel. There are no bath liquid too in the bathroom. Very few tv channels. My gf complaint that the light in the room is too dark. There was a very noisy clearance of the drainage system ( I think it was bathroom related) - which went on all the time at regular intervals day and night. As a light sleeper this did disturb me during the night. slow check-in, no carparking for a 5star hotel not to clever, plus had to wait one and a half hours for a club sandwich on room service,. In the less than 24 hours of our stay, we were interupted 4 times bystaff checking our needs/facilities etc... a bit unecessary we thought. Booked an early morning alarm call on first night stay and didn't receive one, made me late for our stand at the GMEX. No Parking Facilities. The breakfast room was dreadful staff hovering whilst you eat and clearing away plates and cups before you had actually finished dreadful service. The health club's opening times were not late enough (8pm on aSaturday??). The cleanliness of the room. We have booked 2 rooms and were confirmed wake up calls the next morning when we checkin. To our surprise, two rooms did not receive any wakeup calls. We were supposed to catch morning flight to New York from Manchester. We told the manager on duty and was asked to pay for breakfast that we did not even eat/order. We have to missed our breakfast and speeding our car to airport. Miserly with complimentary items i.e water, biscuits, milk. no parking facility or joint venture with a car park facilitator.Hotel took full payment for the room on check in then authorised afurther amount and also took another payment out of my bank accountsome time later. Cost of room £115 actually paid at the moment £570.not very impressed. We were given a disabled room instead of a deluxe. There was no bath or walk in wardrobe as stated in the description. There was a seat in the shower which got in the way. The bed was also way too soft and very uncomfortable.
