Location was excellent - central to everything, in particular the MEN arena, liked the privacy of the apartment, staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment was spotless and had good facilities. Overall excellent would definitely recommend!. nothing was a problem to the staff very friendly and helpful at all times.it was my hen party and they gave me a bottle of wine and 2 champ glasses as a present.
all reviews » central to our needs its nice to be able to sit in a lounge area and a kitchen area as opposed to squatting on the edge of a bed with a hotel room. It was perfectly situated for the men arena as we were at a concert andalso for the Arndale shopping centre and christmas markets.I was delighted with the facilities and service of the city stop apartments. the staff were helful and friendly at all times. The apartment was in an immaculate condition. Very good location for young 20 somethings, across the road from the PrintWorks.It was so central for going out shopping or for a few drinks, plenty of room able to chill out and relax watching tv. Extremely good value for money, apartment was very clean, comfortable and modern - I could of stayed longer :-). Brilliant place to stay! Clean,Friendly,nice change from hotel rooms. location for the Printworks, Arndale Centre and MEN was fantastic.The location was great. We even got to listen to the Dolly Parton CD we bought at the concert on the sound system. Cool!. location was very central, apartment suited our needs. Lots of space and good facilities. Would definately use again. They thoughtfully stocked the fridge with bread and butter as well as tea and filtered water. It was nice to walk into the apartment and find the dinner table set beautifully.It was so close to food and shopping. Nice and warm, very comfortable and quiet and in a good location - close to shops, city centre, stations etc. Easy to find. Clean modern apartment in the heart of the city. interior design/ closeness to town. the communal areas were extremely cold. The lifts were broken and the reception is on the fourth floor it was a bit of a climb to get our keys. On the night of our stay the lift was not working and the receptionwas on the fourth floor and as I suffer from Arthritis I found thestairs difficult. With the lights from the PrintWorks opposite our apartment was very light as the blinds blocked very little of this, including a blind on the interior of the apartment between the lounge area and bedroom meaning it was consistently light all night. It was also noisy from the PrintWorks but if your here to party that shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps request a room at the back of the building. Unfortunately the noise as it just opposite printworks and also on our first night we had a group full of lads opposite it us who were so noisy shouting and being rowdy knocking on our door in the early hours wasnt impressed by that but they left the next day so was fine after. . Didn't realise it was opposite very busy pubs and clubs (the Printworks) which were open until 5am so didn't get much sleep due to the noise. Also, it was a very hot day and there was no air conditioning in the apartment which didn't help either. I had to call the hotel to get back into the building because it was not clear that I had to press star, the code,and star again. I was very tired.using the stairs,lift was broke. The room at night wasn't as dark as me and my boyfriend would have wished as the light from the printworks shined in the room. Also, the internet wireless service was unsatifactory as i had to get a wire from downstairs but the information for the internet given did not work and i could not check a very important email, this however is just a minor flaw.We were expecting a loftstyle apartment and the one given to us was not,but it was very nice. Unfortunately the lift was not working. Two problems:1-check-in was hard if you don't arrive at the right time with no staff and I couldn't get a hold on the listed phone number. 2-not all of the rooms had wifi including my room the first night. The hotel on the next day said my reservation didn't show wifi was requested. I'd assumed the entire hotel had wifi, not just certain rooms. Booking.com or hotel needs to make clear when bkg.Would be even better when they get the wi-fi working on the top floor. the fact that it was non smoking only.little noisey from bars opposite. stayed at a few apartments before and while this one was one of the best it still needs to feel more homely, i.e. Pictures on the walls etc.parking was a bit of a pain. None. Furniture was tired and could do with repair or replacement in places. Just a few touch ups to decor and it would easily be 5*. No staff! any security a bit lapse as no one on front desk, Any one can walk in.THe room was definitely not 3 bedroom. It was 2 bedroom at a push. The details should make this more clear. It is def a misdescription. Hotel staff where very hard to find. Upon check out at 10h15 I couldfind nobody to check me out. No attempt has be made to silence hall waydoors as they slam ever time they are opened. I also was not told aboutthe code needed to re-enter the building at night. Thankfully a customerwas ourside having a fag so he let me in. Nobody was on duty.Mattress not that comfy. was a little noisy outside, and a little cold!!! . The door code was not clear - it was badly written so I had a problem getting in. The hotel could do with more signs/better directions as I was told to turn left out of the lift and I spent ages trying to open the wrong landing door! The hotel could also be clearer about it's smoking policy - I wasn't sure whether smoking was allowed in apartment or not. Nothing I didn't like. Advice on nearby good value parking would be useful. breakfast pack was just a loaf of bread!.
