Stayed here for three weeks for business purposes and have to admit that after the three week period it felt like family. Hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful (contrary to what other people say), always willing to help and offer directions/advice etc. Have to admit that the hotel amenities are not the best but got a very spacious room with double bed (although I booked a single room), internet was decent (£10 a week), and its within walking distance from the Luton Airport Parkway sta.
all reviews » greeted by lovely staff who assisted our check in. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Tea and coffee....pub two minutes from hotel, airport 5 minutes from hotel. Early morning call prompt, greeted again in the morning and wished well on our holidyas...Lenny was so right..........perfect....x. Loved the hotel very clean and staff very friendly. Very happy with staying here and will be staying again. The staff at the hotel dealt with a complaint we made at the brache and were outstanding listening to the customer which we did not get at the brache. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Peaceful and comfortable. All facilities were there, nothing was left out. I have never stayed in a Premier Inn before but will make it my first choice in the future. Excellently placed, relative to the railway station, to enable us to break our journey from Sheffield to connect with a mid-day flight from Gatwick (through train from Luton Airport Parkway Station). 1- Extra pillows & blankets in room. 2- Beefeater Grill close by for meals - v. courteous service and outstanding breakfast (spent so long over it, we missed our train!) 3- No aircraft noise. Staff were very helpfull and room was clean and inviting I had everything I needed And at a price that was very affordable. Will use this hotel Again. Excellent location and easy to access. Good parking. Staff terrific - they found me a charger for my phone! Not far from town centre or main routes. Everything , great room had 2 adults and 3 children. Was plenty big enough, clean and comfortable. Followed by a great breakfast next morning ... I had left a plug adaptor in socket in room on checkout - staff found & gave me when I returned at end of day. Excellent value and very good and helpful staff and in ideal location for airport. Will recommend and stay again. The room was very nice - welcoming and clean with a nice colour scheme for bedding, curtains and carpet. Clean and comfortable. Adequate for stay after late flight. Nothing to dislike...does what it says on the tin and some.......x. The brache pub next to the hotel was an absolute disgrace, two members of staff were rude and one was the manager. The food was a long wait and when it finally came two meals were cold and another two were chewy. I liked everything. Nothing. 1 - Irrationally, I missed a sachet of shower gel to use in the bath. Of course it's more practical to have an all-purpose-gel dispenser on the wall. Next time I use a Premier Inn I'll remember to bring some bubble bath and hair conditioner! 2- minimal provision for hanging clothes. Fine for overnight stays before/after a flight, but I would want a proper wardrobe if staying longer. It is to be expected that an airport hotel will have comings and goings at odd times including through the night. Day after Bank Hol short of some standard breakfast items - E.G. no fresh fruit. Staff apology in advance - no big deal - could have been foreseen?. Nothing. Lack of insulation in the ceiling so it sounded like a herd of elephants moved in upstairs at 1am! Breakfast was lukewarm, not hot, but otherwise nice. No character. just somewhere comfortable and covenient to stay. overcharged (twice) in restaurant out door umbrellas didn't cover the tables when it rained. The hotel itself was lovely.The beefeater attached wasn't so great, my meal was dry and unappetising. Attending a swimming meet which always start at 7.30 and therefore my swimmer was very disappointed that breakfast was not served early enough. All swimmers need good nutrition especially before a meet so this made eating before competition difficult. Competitors staying at the holiday inn got free cooked breakfast in their deal which was served nice and early. No shuttle bus to go to the airport. Was unable to use my discount card even though I stated for confirmation on the booking form if I could use it but received no reply. As a frequent business traveller I find the max 30 mins free wi-fi an irritant - other hotels just privide it free of any charge/restriction. room was very cold. Baked beans were luke warm. No telephone in rooms as such I was compelled to go to reception at about 11:30pm to follow-up on extra cot requested. Couldn't pick up wi-fi from my room after paying for it. Both couples staying had poor night's sleep due to other guests in rooms above theirs either constantly arguing all night or walking (heavily) around their rooms!. A bit too far from the airport... I needed to get a taxi :(. not being woke up at 7 in the morning by cleaning staff as dont need to check out by 12. Hard to find. Other clientele. the lift was,nt working. not very good for carrying cases upstairs, when you,ve had a knee replacement !!. Check-in £8 fare from airport. Nowhere near airport despite name. Walls a bit thin,, could hear man snoring next door and people up above walking around room. Walls were very thin we could hear someone snoring all night which kept us awake.The Hotel is a long distance from the Airport and they do not provide a courtesy bus.The area of the Restaurant where we were put was cold and we were unable to pay our bill with a credit card due to a fault with the credit card machine. Storage space in rooms poor; No reduction or incentive for our 8-night stay; No lounge area; Having to brave the poor weather to get breakfast. Hotel used by Local Authority for housing people awaiting accommodation - unruly children left in the care of hotel staff.
