The staff were all excellent and extremely polite. I have stayed at far more expensive airport hotels and had much poorer service. The restaurant food was very good, but the chef needs to learn a little more about what medium and well done steaks are. They were both very undercooked. We didn't complain though, as all the staff were just far too nice to be hassled. There's also a free shuttle bus from stand 2 that drops you off within 100 yards of the hotel The beds were very comfortable We were a late check in after a midnight landing at Luton, staff couldn't do enough. We had a connecting filght at Heathrow back to Canada next day and booked our seats in advance at the hotel, front desk staff offered to print our boarding passes from the internet. Rooms were small but prac. Reception staff were extremely welcoming and efficient , friendly. Courteous and intereted to get feedback on site. Great room . Very ibis but new comfortable bed and everything exceptionally clean. Although I didn't use had interesting offers to entice a guest to eat and drink in their bar restaurant rather than bus or taxi into Luton centre. Tv worked well and nothing seemed too much trouble when I had a question . Free newspaper . Breakfast started at 4.30 am so possible to eat before early. I was so pleasantly surprised with the Ibis. Firstly, it's a mere 8 min walk from Luton airport & is clearly Signposted (hotels) we arrived at 1am & the receptionist was so friendly & helpful, he even let me print out my boarding passes & I know some other hotels that refuse or charge.. The hotel itself is very modern with a bar/background music & very nice rooms. Such a comfy bed! And I loved the funky large shower. All for a bargain as well. Would highly Recommend. If you have to travel from Luton airport this is a great place to stay the night before or after if you are arriving late. The other reviewer who cmmented on good value food (available up to 10pm) was right - it is. The staff on duty when I was there were very good. e.g. new French staff member. She asked not only about wi fi (free) but if I would like a code for more than one device so I was able to also use my ipad. Quite spacious room, tidy, comfy, clean, big bed - enough space for parents to sleap in one bed with an under two year old child, wi-fi available in the room, staff gave us a quite room as we asked, very close to the airport, reached it on foot easily, so this hotel is the best solution for an over night stay when you have an early flight. Had dinner in a bar which was very delicious.EXCELLENT SERVICE THROUGHOUT. The hotel is located 5 min. walk from the terminal, very clean, extremely confortable, huge bed, nice cooked breakfast from 4.30 a.m. very good value for money. The room we were given on this occasion was bigger than on our past visits, as far as we could tell there was no-one in the adjoining rooms, which meant we had no noise. The shower facility was excellent in this particular room. The hotel is very close to the airport (10 minute walk) and the reception staff very helpful and friendly. It is close to the airport. May not really short walking distance, but you can always wait for shuttle bus that come pretty often. I had made a mistake on my non-refundable reservation and they allowed me to make the date change anyway - I think that says a lot about a hotel. The bathroom is in a little capsule just beside the bed which takes a bit of getting used to but the shower was really good and just what we needed after our flight (the comfy bed was too). It's very close to Luton Airport - just 10 minutes walk or less. The staff are helpful - certainly much better than Ramada Encore next door where I previously stayed. The outside seating area, where so many people sat to smoke, was very close to the entrance doors and the continuous smell of smoke was very strong and unpleasant in the interior non-smoking areas close to the bar and in the restaurant. I might suggest asking residents not to smoke at the tables closest to the entrance. Small whinge though - and nothing of a disaster. Otherwise, a very happy 9/10. Unless you have your own laptop (free wi-fi is avilable) then you need to pay for hotel internet use, not a lot, 1 pound for 20 mins but maybe they should have their own free service. Nothing . I am not a fan of Luton airport but I was going to Vilnius in Lithuania and Wizz air is a better bet than Ryan air but an early flight meant I needed a hotel. Ibis was a good choice. Brekfast is not included. You have to pay extra. I found the food a little bit expensive but probably this was the way to compensate the cheap price for the hotel room. Everything was OK. The rooms we had on our previous two visits were very small, but adequate for an overnight stay. The walls are very thin and we have been unlucky to have noisy neighbours on those visits, which meant we started our holiday feeling very tired instead of refreshed. I didn't get a chance to see whether they really provide breakfast at 4 am. I was such in rush to catch the shuttle bus, it was really early morning flight. It was just fine. no free shuttle when you can basically see the roof of the terminal...you need to take the normal shuttle at a cost. We were in a room next to the elevator shaft so it was a bit noisy but as we were a late check-in, it wasn't too bad. People that visited the restaurant took over the parking of people stayng the night. Otherwise everything was great. Nothing to dislike. The room was hot even with both windows open and the air con on a cool setting. The food in the restaurant was a rip off. It was clearly a microwaved ready meal, the portion was very small and it was poor quality (£9 for chilli and mostly rice). A noisy fan in my room, made it hard to get to sleep at first, and the wifi was expensive (although the free wifi at ramada encore didn't work during my last stay). Blocked drain in Shower room. I made an error in booking for the 28th March when in fact it should have been 28th February. I told receptionist it was a genuine mistake and that I had a future booking for 16th March and that I was regular client. It was water off a ducks back she charged me the additional gbp44.00. In my opinion not the way to secure loyalty especially as there is another operative Hotel next to Ibis. Nothing - staff made sure of our 'complete' satisfaction!... Nothing. Beds narrow but comfortable. Noisy if people on taking very early flights. I did not expect that I had to pay for using the luggage room when I checked out. Luton!. * breakfast is a bit overpriced * not much food at the bar during the evening/night * can't properly open the window for ventilation (just a slit). Overnight parking £5. We weren't able to turn the heating down in our room and it was so hot that it stopped us from sleeping very well. In the morning I realised that I could have opened the window. Nothing! Except the weather :(. The parking availability is limited so if you arrive late you may have to pay for the mid-term airport car park across the road or park on the service road to the hotel. The food in the restaurant is very expensive. I was disappointed there was no Shampoo or Shower gel in the shower. There was nothing we didn't like. Breakfast was dreadful cold bacon reconstituted egg tinned fruit ugh !. Nothing to complain of. No dislikes.
