What people say
Smart, comfortable room a modern clean bathroom and the most amazing
shower. Beds were very comfortable and the room was very quiet with good
thick darkening curtains. We had a problem with the hair dryer in the
morning and he staff could not have been more apologetic or helpfull.
When we checked out in the morning they kept our bags for till the
afternoon free of charge.
our daughter @ i were given a room with twin beds @ a double bed , very clean bedroom , bathroom small ( glad we were not on the larger size )but clean / tidy , staff friendly , and it was 6 mins walk from victoria coach station , also handy there is a sainsburys @ food hall 8 mins walk away by the entrance to victoria underground station , would return in the future. all reviews »
Exceptionally clean, staff on the reception were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was extremely good and the dining romm staff were also very helpful. I would definitely stay again and have passed on the details to my manager so he can use the Sheriff for other staff members when they have to sat overnight in the area.
Calm hotel, comfortable and in good central position (100 meters away from Victoria Station) to visit London. The room is small but complete with bath and hair dryer, with boiler for thé and coffee, with balcony on the road. Clean, with nice and available personnel. I would return.
The staff were great, answered my questions /directions with
pleasure ,very good locale and breakfast was really good ,ive read
good ,bad, indifferent views on this hotel and ok it has no bar to
unwind in after a long day.. Its a b+b with aspirations...and more
loveable for it !!!!!.
Great location. Really clean, comfortable, balcony was brilliant for smokers. Staff on reception couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. Great being able to leave luggage after checkout. I would definitely recommend it.
Staff were really friendly and they have a great policy for leaving luggage on the day of arrival and departure so we didnt have to carry our bags all over London, its very close to Victoria station and on a nice quiet road.
The location was good, especially when using the London Underground at Victoria Station. I appreciated that the staff allowed us to store our luggage prior to check-in. The breakfast was also good.
The hotel was excellent in terms of location and price. Could not fault the staff who were so friendly and helpful will not hesitate to recommend to others and use the hotel again.
The hotel exceeded our expectations given the amount we paid for the accommodation. The room was very clean and the en-suite bathroom was spotless.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff who were always very helpful. Great location for access to all parts of London.
Everything was amazing, very clean, staff were friendly, rooms were lovely, location was perfect. 10/10 stay! Could not ask for a better hotel.
Good location near to underground station and Victoria coach / train station. Good value for money. Very nice and clean rooms.
I liked the fact that even though the room was small, it still had everything I wanted i.e. bathroom, TV, kettle, hairdryer.
Everything about the hotel was perfect for the one night stay that we planned. Facilities couldn't have been more perfect.
Friendly and helpful welcome.
Clean comfortable room. Convenient position. We got what we expected from the description.
my bank statement shows a
transaction for £110 for The Grapevine Hotel dated 2nd July.
Could you explain this please.
It is very good located, the rooms are a little bit small but redecorated, all new. It is enough for a tourism trip.
Extremely helpful staff, very pleasant. Nice comfortable rooms.Would definitely stay here again. Value for money.
Clean bathroom and nice shower - I didn't like but it was OK to have it outside the room
Comfortable beds.
Location is very good. The room was small but clean. Our room was fairly quiet and worth for its price.
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Able to leave luggage after checkout. Clean and safe.
Room was good, enjoyed having balcony, bed and shower good. Location for our purposes excellent.
Liked where it was situated every thing in walking distance loved it would certainly go again.
The location was perfect, the room was clean and every day we received fresh towers.
Great location - only 6 minute walk from Victoria station and pub just up the road!.
Accomodation was within walking distance of shops restaurants and train links.
Breakfast was good.
Room facilities good, soap, tea and coffee facilities.
10 minute walk from Victoria station, nice neighbourhood, nice bathroom.

The Location, Staff & Welcome
were great.
Comfortable beds, very clean, friendly staff.
The rooms and bathroom were quite modern.
The friendly staff and the clean hotel.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Great location and facilities.
Clean easy access to london.
Paid for a delux room but very small, its very clean the staff were very pleasant. It's near the bus railway and tube stations and the streets around are well light if you're arriving back late we did. Was expecting a cooked breakfast but just toast various breads cereal and fruit were available as well as a variety of drinks. The dining room is tiny. Ok all round if your staying one night and on a budget but couldn't put up with more than that due to the room size.
Good location for visiting central London. Staff helpful, they allowed us to leave our luggage with them from early in the morning until early evening when we returned to check in. Room was quite small but ok for the one night we stayed. Good wifi connection in room. Breakfast ok but have had better in similar hotels. Overall for a short stay this hotel was fine but probably wouldn't stay for more than one or two nights.
Excellent location for Tourist attractions, within walking distance, and easy access for trains and all amenities.
Room very comfortable,lovely bathroom.
Good service being able to leave bags at hotel on arrival and Departure.
The rooms were clean but very small
the staff were friendly especially the staff in the dining room.
Very good location- easy to access local attractions and travel network.
tv in bedroom didnt work very well @ handle on bathroom door was glued on @ not very safe.
My only criticism would be that I like to have a window open at night and this wasn't possible, but not a real problem although may be in the summer.
The stairs oh my sweet lord the stairs but to be fair the hotel is to
small to put a lift in.
Breakfast could have been better but that is being really picky as it is a great hotel.
We could have used help carrying our luggage up four flights of narrow stairs.
The hotel was very busy when we stayed. There didn't appear to be anyone around to help organise the breakfast seating arrangements. We had 1 person sitting at a table for 4 and other guests having to stand and wait including ourselves. noone can to help or suggest when to come back. The breakfast itself was fine.
The rooms were quite small and has narrow stairs.
Possibly a bit more variety for breakfast.
Houndred of stairs you need to go on foot to enter your room (no lift). Very poor breakfast.
No lift.
The only negative about the room was the size. (room 26)
It was very small for a double room but we didn't spend much time in there so wasn't a problem.
It was very warm and cramped in the breakfast room.
Rooms quite small, but sufficient for our needs.
Very small room with nowhere to sit except on the beds
Lack of shelves, we had to use the floor for our things.
There were many narrow stairs and the breakfast was just coffee and bread. But one has to remember the low price of the room.
Wifi frustrating, poor.
Room was a little small but had everything we needed & staff were nice.
The room was tiny, the breakfast was poor.
The door just outside our room slammed shut every time someone went through it and despite being a 'superior triple room' we couldn't fit 2 people round the end of the beds at the same time!.
Breakfast room was overcrowded and choice of breakfast limited some fresh fruit would have been nice.
Room very small, no desk.
Very small room.
- The view from the downstairs triple room.
- Window was broken, however this was explained to us upon arrival.
- poor breakfast, only sweet food.
Breakfast could offer more variations.
Breakfast could of had more choices. e.g. more cereals to choose from.
Lumpy pillows and hard bed.
Would have been perfect if it was not for the lumpy pillows, I could have put up with the hard bed. You need comfort after a long day of sightseeing!.
The room and en-suite were so small the basin was in the room rather than bathroom and navigating around the bed could only be done sideways. But given the tariff compared to a central London hotel, that was a small price to pay.
Breakfast dull. All I need is tea and toast, so well catered for personally, but the rest did not look appetising.
small size of room ,a double bed AND two singles was definitely overcrowded , i had to duck down to avoid hitting TV at bed end.
Lots of stairs not good when you arrive/leave and have to carry luggage.
The rooms were very small. Our bathroom was across the hall accessed using our room key but we did not have to share. It was very noisy as the walls are thin and with no aircon we had to leave the windows open.
The internet connection was fair.
The size of the rooms and dining area but this would not put me off staying just one night again.
No lift so had to carry suitcase up four flights of stairs but we knew about this beforehand from reading other reviews. Water didn't drain away properly in the shower cubicle so had to keep turning off shower to prevent the shower tray overflowing. Toilet seat broken. Very noisy central heating system. Only able to get BBC channels on TV. Have to admit as we only stayed one night we didn't complain about any of it to the management.
Found Continental Breakfast very basic.Need to make customers aware of number of stairs, not a problem to us up several flights of stairs.
The rooms were tiny
We were situated around the corner so had to walk oputside for breakfast
sink was in the bedroom as no room for it in the shower room.
Stairs were very narrow up to room- no ground floor rooms
stairs down to dining room.
No lift and incomplete hand rails on all stairs- I travelled with my elderly mother and it was very diificult for her.
