  Location: great location, it’s right next to the Hagley Park so we had an extremely nice stroll in late afternoon. It’s 15 minutes walk to center but since there isn’t much to see in the center you might as well just enjoy being close to the park. Room: it’s a bit small but very clean and tidy with good décor. The balcony overlooks a private garde... what people say » n and is petite and lovely. Service: was excellent. Every staff was very nice and attentive. We’re on our honeymoon trip and we got upgraded to a hon - Great location, easy walking to city center, museums, botanical garden. Dinner at Pescatore was lots of fun and well worth the splurge. Our stay at The George was a luxurious, fitting and relaxing end to our two week drive around the South Island.

  The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. I was given plenty of tips on where to go/what to do and how to get around, which is great considering I was travelling alone. The room and bathroom were immaculate and the bed was really comfy. It's also worth mentioning that the location of the motel is really good - just 5 mins walk from Christ... what people say » church centre. - The welcome from Jeff &Naomi was fantastic.We loved their great sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable.This is a first rate motel at a very good price. Best of all though is the two owners.

  This is one of the best and more comfortable backpacker i ever stayed in!! Staff was really nice and gave us good recommendation for places to go to. Our room were extremely comfortable with electric blanket (love those!!) very net and clean. shared bathroom, there were about 4 bathroom/ toilets on the floor we were, so no need to wait plus was r... what people say » eally clean and spacious shower. The hostel is eco friendly which is always a plus. We did not use the kitchen, but it was definitely a big one and s - Single beds in a small dorm of five beds was good, far better than big dorms app with bunk beds. The location was great, not too far from some good places to eat and drink and not far from the central parts of Christchurch that you can still access. Free wifi was great and I could access it wherever I was in the house. So all good for me and what I wanted! And great price top

  The alarming system is very sweet and innovative. Location - convenient; facilities - new and user friendly; staff - very helpful and prompt; really lovely room.   Good room, basic but okay for price. Everything looked new which was nice. Bed was amazingly massive! Were happy about the upgrade to "executive suite" but wonder what the suite below executive would be like as was still pretty basic. Friendly and obliging staff in reception.
