  We stayed for just the one night but it was absolutely perfect! Studio room, with a deck overlooking Picton Harbour. Room was very new and modern and nicely laid out with plenty of room with bed, couch, table and 2 chairs.   Wonderful clean tiddy room and absolutely amazing friendly service! The price is good for traveller and the best choice quality / cost. Free internet is very handy option. Also I was very happy with kitchen. It has everything I need including natural coffee and coffee plunger. Bathroom also important for me. If I stay in Picton again, I' would stay definitely in this motel! =) - Absolutely excellent in every way. All facilities to a very high standard and the whole motel was attractively decorated. It was lovely sitting on the balcony looking over the peaceful High Street and so convenient for the ferry too. The excellent, hot and reasonably priced all-you-could-eat breakfast was a bonus. Our stay was perfect and were made so very welcome by the Manager.

  I stayed here with my 5 year old daughter during the Seddon quakes, Was very happy with my stay. The staff were great, we were checked up on after a big shake by the manager and assured us the building was very safe!! Lovely people, walking distance to all shops, cafes and waterfront.   We love the couple who own the place. It is a cozy and warmth cottage, with a very warmth welcome by the owners. They came out of the house to greet us when they saw our car turning in. When we bade them goodbyes, they even drew us a map and suggested which route to drive to Hokitika.
