Museum Suites set in an historic 19th-century mansion, in the middle of Amsterdam’s famous Museum District. It has 3 spacious suites and a self-catering apartment, all with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Each of the accommodations has decorations inspired by the great Dutch painters such as Rembrandt, Vermeer, Van Gogh and Mondrian. They have classic parquet flooring, high decorated ceilings and a cosy seating corner. On foot, guests can reach the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum in 10 minutes. The famous Vondelpark and the luxurious P.C. Hoofdstraat shopping street are just one block away from Museum Suites.

This charming, comfortable and stylish hotel is in a lovely area and a short walk to the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk and Van Gogh museums, and the beautiful concert hall. A few minutes further and you will find yourself in a lovely antique shopping area by the canals and a stone's throw from the seven bridges. As a solo traveller I was happy to walk around the neighbourhood on my own in the evening and had very nice meals at De Sale and Brasserie De Joffers (turn left out of the hotel and you can be.
all reviews » Museum Suites is wonderful! We stayed in the Van Gogh Suite - beautiful, private, expertly decorated. The magimix espresso maker was an added bonus. We had an elevated porch out back of our room with an exquisite view of the private gardens up and down the block. Very quiet, extraordinarily lovely. We stayed four nights/5 days. We had the Mondrian room, situated at the back of the building on the top floor (no lift). It was large, quiet except for the birds, and was well equipped with a fabulous big bathroom. The service was outstanding and the room/apartment was incredbily clean. The renovations that were done were impecable. A great deal of thought was put into the design of this hotel and it was a pleasure to stay here.
