The hotel had a major renovation in 2017. All rooms are newly refurbished, and have flat screen TVs, Free WiFi, Nespresso coffee machines and air-conditioning. The bathrooms are equipped with heated floors and rain showers. Museumplein and Concert Gebouw are situated at a distance of 200 metres. From there, a direct connection to Schiphol Airport is available with an airport shuttle bus. At Museumplein, guests can take tram lines 2,5,12 and 24 to the Central Station, RAI and WTC.

The hostel was clean and quiet. We were on the first floor and did not hear any noise all night. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly enough. It was also in a perfect location - not too close to the city center, but placed close enough to walk to the bars in 12 min. Nice location easy access to everywhere. Good area away from the downtown hub bub moise etc... The staff were very helpful. Great value for the buck.

It's close to tram lines forgetting into the centre of town, but far enough away for some peace andquiet after hours. Awesome central location, friendly staff big room size for a European hostel. TV and bathroom in room. Friendly Staff, clean sheets and towels every day, excellent breakfast. It's close to the main areas of Amsterdam.It was quit close to most of the attractions in the city. My room was generally clean. Free internet access. Hotel was resonable for the price. Room was okay. Massive selection for the breakfast, and in the price too !!!!. lots of tourists and young people. Close to all I wanted to visit, safe feeling. staff. If your main goal with a hotel/hostel just is to have somewhere to sleep this is a great choice. Good valuey for the money.Not much, other than that is was cheaper than other accomodation I saw. Our shower did not have a door...I stayed in a dorm room and sometimes the guests can be thoughtless, so its always good to be polite and consider others like lights and noise.. Dorm room windows face right out onto street at street level, canget a little noisy, but this is a nice quiet area of town, so itsrarely a problem. The room was a bit hot, but there was a fan :) . You can work better in the bunk beds. Make them less noise.The lawn to my room had an odour. Not too bad to be taken but it is something that can be improved upon. My room was too small to have 6 beds. If 6 people should move in at the same time, it wont be funny. Little or no space to move around. Room was quite open, and cold. Only when I turned the radiator on it was fine.How ever i think the saftey is a matter which there is a little concern about it. While i was in a shared bed room, I faced with a groups of room mates who didnt really cared about other's passangers staff. They moved my bags and also one of my bags moved from room probbaley by cleaner with out any previous notice. The cost. nois. The breakfast staff was a little bit slow and when things were used up it took a while until (if at all) it came more.Staff very unresponsive to requests, they did not even repond to prior Email requests. Hostel reasonably clean but very tired and run down. Not a very nice experience overall. For my entire stay there was a water leak from the ceiling, which i complained about everyday but nothing was done! In the morning the housekeeping would rudely awaken everyone in the dorm to ask rediculous questions. Not good for those who like a lie in after a heavy night out in Amsterdam. Please don't go there. Terrible!!!!. Not good location at all. Very noisy from the inside costumers. I asked twice to clean the room and change seets(stay there 7 nights) and they didnt do it. General very dirty place. Very very small room ,like prison.
