I stayed with my family in a two bedroom suite. we reached the place earlier than the hotel's check in time yet we weren't asked to pay extra bucks for the early check in,which was what we all expected at first; plus our room was made available in just a few minutes after we have confirmed our booking. Everyone in the hotel is friendly that you could feel a very positive ambiance the moment you step in to the lobby. Our suite was on the 3rd floor and was really really lovely! Only that you'll.
all reviews » Loved how the staff weren't intrusive but were kind and efficient in their service. We had our airline tickets printed - as offered by the front office, free of charge. The cookware and utensils were sufficient, making it feel like home. Check in and check out was quick and fast. The location was great as the bus station is just around the corner along with the grocery that had everything you wanted. Also, on our first day we had trouble with the electrical outlets of the room, the maintenance . The staff was quite nice to the kids as well. One of the twins got sick and in the middle of the night vomited all over the bed. Within 20 minutes of calling the reception, we had fresh sheets and covers. Room service was quite prompt as well and the pizza we had ordered was quite delicious. Overall, I would give them 5 stars for service. It's when a child gets sick in the middle of the night that the service of a hotel gets tested!. The hotel building looks magnificent both inside and out. The area is well maintained, it has lots of places for relaxation and activities. The staff was perfectly helpful and nice to us. The room is big and spacious with fully-equipped kitchen. Children playground is the best ever! We will definitely choose it's hotel again for our next trip. Thanks a lot!. On arrival staff were very professional with more than enough staff on duty to deal with any requests timeously.The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean although the bathroom could do with improvement, particularly the shower.facilities on site were good with a convenient shop, a good sized swimming pool and also eating and spa facilities. U have everythings in the room: kitchen, iron, tv, good WiFi. Nobody disturb you and every time want help you if you need. Near you have supermarket and bus station. A lot of buses to go to center and near you have subway. And good swimming pool. No sound outside if you live in top floor,just birds and this good. The staff are friendly and courtious. The location is quiet, but is within 10 minutes of decent bars and restaurants. The rooms are actually suites so you feel at home and relaxed. They promptly sent someone up to rectify it and I was logged on within 15 mins. Plus the free wifi was quite fast. Great service. Just 10 mins walk from Ampang Park metro station which allows you to easily explore the city.Facilities are excellent, food is good and the staff are welcoming and very friendly. I would recommend the Ambassador to anyone going to KL. The hotel is conveniently placed in the city center. It provides all necessary amentities for the comfortable stay in the appartment with 2 bedrooms, separate bathrooms and kitchen. The staff was very polite and helpful. We had a suite on the top floor. Really good layout 2 x double bedrooms both with en-suite, a kitchenette and a lovelly living/dining room overlooking KL. Really good for family with older kids. The bathtub was old enough, the china pans are not too much convenient for cooking. Bathroom could do with updating and wi if. Could be more reliable and more speedy. Rooms not like in a foto, the furniture little old, but good quality. You dont have a bar in hotel, restorans near not very good. The location is not very convenient, The nearest subway stataion is about 25 min by walking. Though there is a bus station about 5 min walking ,but if you do not know KL very well, it is very difficult for the traveller to take the bus. No name of the bus station, and no info sign for the bus line. The bathroom feels a lot older than the decor in the rest of the room. It all works pefrectly, but is starting to show its age. I've stayed here 3 times and every suite we have had the bathroom has felt the same. Spa at hotel wasn't very good but doesn't affect the hotel stay and experience at all. Didn't notice any problems during our stay. It would cost around 20 malaysian ringgit to go to petronas tower and nearby areas. Unlike other hotels which is walking distance to klcc,bukit bintang commercial areas. Being a Serviced Appartments complex the 'hotel' lacks a little atmosphere at Reception as there are not extensive facilities. However if we were staying in KL again we would definitely look to stay here again. Swimming pool not suitable at all for small kids... Kids pool unavailable. The design of building which is quite dangerous for young kids, there should be a higher wall surrounding the building-area facing the room. Didn't appear to have our booking when we arrived at 2.00am which was rather annoying because we just wanted to go to sleep. A little far out and the shuttle bus is intermittent. However taxis are cheap so no major issue. The restaurant a little pricy for the quality. Not much imagination on the menu. I get the feeling that there were designated rooms for letsbookhotel.com because they do not entertain requests for extended check-outs as there were other guests waiting to check into the same rooms. All this despite the hotel not running full. The room had a balcony, but that was locked. The pool was very shallow and not really in a comfortable relaxed surrounding. Breakfast n dine in menu too limited. Power failure on Sunday, 26th May 2013 from morning till afternoon..no apologize or official announcement on the event. n/a. no breakfast ...and no rice cooker in kitchen. No shower caps provided. Swimming pool and gym not so attractive. wifi service was weak. tvs provided in the living room and the bedrooms did not have usb ports so we could not watch the .avi format movies that we brought with us. It was a bit out from the city. The staff who attended to me at the reception during check in did not attend to my request in the most amicable manner. The bell boy was also unfriendly but the other 2 who helped us during checking out were very helpful and friendly. The location to the hotel is quite jammed when afternoon time. Staff is not flexible. Too many times calling to cleaning the room everyday. the other room w'out ext washing hose to use aft w.c.The pillow is too flat n thin for both room..n i was wandering is der any swimming pools?. Nothing really. none. no international types of foods. Please Renew the Facilities in room. only the security personal a bit rude as they are not local and hard to explain anything sometimes but overall still consider above good and below excellent :). Don't like the traffic jam before reach to hotel.
