This hotel is a lovely new hotel within walking distance of a subway and not that far from the main Kyoto Station. I particularly loved the large bathroom- with a separate wet room- in our double room (large bathrooms in most Japanese hotels are a rarity). Lots of eateries & cafés close by. There is a nice Irish pub across the road and Starbucks is just down the road. The location of this hotel is perefect for a city tour including sightseeing, shopping, going out in the evening. It is just a 3* hotel however easily can be recognized as 4*. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much.

Situated on a main road which helps you to find your way easily. Close to Kyoto station. Very clean, concise and had a personal touch to room, reception and restaurant. Highly recommend, would happily stay again. AND, free Wifi which is difficult to find in Japan. Great value for money: good and comfortable room + amenities for a reasonable price. The room was much larger than the usual Japanese hotel rooms- which was good as we had a twin room and a fair amount of baggage between us. Room was also new and clean. The bikes for hire were much more pricey than those you could rent in the shops. Would like to have breakfast included in price. My dad said: less choices of TV channels. But didn't bother me anymore because I used my own computer. Nothing. Laundry does not provide by service on weekends. no electronic card key. only one key for each room. Very small room. Lack of food and beverage service. Beautiful lounge/cafe area with balcony but nothing there. Dead in morning and evening. Took soul away from the place. Could be do nice. Room a bit small for the price we paid & no breakfast included. I was expecting breakfast for the price. Overpriced, extreme small room, the sink facing the bed, the suitcases don't fit in. No English on the Air Conditioning (would be good to have a translation sheet) Bed was really hard, not comfortable Room was small for the price.
