Good location in center of Kyoto. The restaurant menu (food on display) looks great. Room is quiet with spacious bathroom (for Japanese standards). Friendly staff, spacious lobby has two PC's with free internet access and printers.

Nice&helpful stuff, spaceous room, free goodies in the bathroom-as
usual in japanese hotels. A nice welcome with additional free goodies-
bath, nail polish remover etc.
Hotel is good for both business and pleasant. Advanced check in and out machine to save lots of time. The restaruant located in first floor is also tasty.....
Very central location but not noisy, only a couple stations to Kyoto Station, around the corner from department stores, walking distance to Nishiki Market.

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant-poor selection of western dishes, eggs
from powder, etc. Not recommended.
Not very flexible, we arrived 30 minutes earlier and not allowed to check in.
Beds were far too firm for our comfort; same with the pillows (both may
be fine for Japanese); no English language stations on television; some
items in room had no English language directions or explanation (E.G.,
room humidifier).
Need to improve coffee quality and do they need to give the coffee at check in? Better to find it on the table on the room.
Nothing! It was a great stay.
We have to make payment on 1st day for the four days stay. This leave us have no option to select to decide pay by cash or credit card. Other hotel, they allow to hold our credit card information but final payment only make on last day of stay.
Did not appreciate being charged an extra 1000 yen for being half an
hour late for checkout after sleeping in, especially after informing
reception 10 mins after time to say we would checkout asap in the
following 15 mins.
