The owner Tamiko-san was so kind, sweet, welcoming and helpful. A real gem. The location was outrageously good for my list of places to see and things to do. Wow. Great restaurants on the street and nearby and Depachika (department store basement food level) at the end of the street where I bought many delicious supplies, the market was just a block further. I was sad to leave!.
We were looking for a typical and traditional Japanese ryokan, and we found it. Great experience! Rooms are big and comfortable. Even though they don't speak good English, staff is helpful and friendly. It's located in a cool and quiet little street, but very close to an animated block and subway stations. Free wi-fi. The ladies that run this ryokan are absolutely lovely. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming and ensured that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was great; close to everything, yet being down a side street it was nice and quiet.
Perfect location - right in the centre of town (only 5 minutes from Nishiki market etc) and 2 minutes walk from subway station. Very friendly staff, extremely clean and excellent Japanese style facilities. Highly recommended!.

Wifi didnt reach my room at the back upstairs but I could easily use it in the foyer/lounge area.
