  Venice is a small city (for me anyway) but hard to navigate, so people will get lost (I got delightfully lost several times), but I thought Residenza La Loggia was super easy to find. The distance between houses on opposite side in this area are tiny co do not expect any view from your window. If you do not mind this then Residenza la Loggia might be just the right place for your stay. Staff was very helpful and informative. Kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great on the patio. Do have to climb a lot of stairs (no elevator) but very nice place.

  The location was ideal, 5-10mins walk from where the airport transfer boat drops you off, and the same distance to the famous Rialto Bridge. All staff were very friendly, welcoming and had good English. The thick curtains, very effective against early morning sunshine and light sleepers. No sound carried through the walls. Bottles of water from the mini bar in the room were cheap - It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.

She gave us great advice about things to see and places to eat, even to making a reservation for us. The location is very convenient to the airport vaporetto, and directions were simple and easy to follow. The neighborhood is quiet with little tourist traffic. The room was perfect, the bathroom pristine. Everything was first rate.

  The host was very helpful and welcoming and the view from the BandB is sensational. I highly recommend this BandB as it within walking distance of St Marks Sq and the Rialto. - Absolutely the best BandB I've stayed in. The rooms are massive. I would stay here again and again. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view.   The best thing that impressed that I recieved an email from Adriana - the communications manager of the hotel, 2-3 before my check-in to make sure that I smoothly find the hotel (water bus number, location map, etc.). The kitchen is good and you can cook. I bought some fresh catch from the fish market which is just below the hotel. Mi - Great, great location.....really could not be better placed in the city for walking and the general sights of Venice. The top floor is very generous in size with a quaint, atelier style slanted roof and pop-up dormer windows looking out onto the Grand Canal. Amenities and the access to a full kitchen are very welcome additions to a lovely stay.

  We were givena junior suite which was a lovely surprise. The bathroom facilities were much better than in other Italian hotels I've stayed in.   We arrived in the wrong place (San Luca Hotel)....but the owner called and the person from San Luca BB came to meet us and escort us to the B&B (really kind and above the level of what is required). As we arrived early in the morning, I wrote and they said they would be happy to even have us check in early. There is an Punto Simply (grocery) on - Location, location, location. You're literally minutes away from both the Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Yet, once you get inside the B&B, it feels more like home and the touristy/hectic buzz of the outside feels farther away. Service was excellent. If you can't be shown to your room yet (ie. you show up early) or you have a later flight to catch, they'll let you leave your bags with no hassle and will even serve you coffee in the common area.
