We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon and it was perfect. We stayed in the superior room. The room is very big. It has two floors with bed n the second floor. The design is very stylish, the room and the hotel are very clean. The reception was very welcoming and the owner, Valerio, was very helpful. His recommendations regarding sightseen and restaurants were also very good. The hotel has a very god location near San Marco Place. This was the best hotel during our stay in Italy. We recom.
all reviews » Super close to Plaza San Marco, provided maps to easily find the hotel in such a maze of a city. The hotel smelled wonderfully, always clean, modern and homey type feel to it. The staff were super attentive and helpful to all our needs, making suggestions which were very helpful. The breakfast was great!!!! Unexcpected and delicious, there is great wifi in the room. The hotel is just simply beautiful, modern but very comfortable. The location is perfect just few minutes from San Marco, very clean, friendly stuff and wifi is available, although it gets weak sometimes. At the begging it was hard to get to the hotel as it locates in one of the narrow passages in Venice, however; we were emailed in advance by the stuff descripting how to get there from Marco Polo airport but it was our fault not printing that. Otherwise we enjoyed staying there. A very well located hotel, just 2 minutes away from Piazza San Marco (on foot). Staff is very helpful, and I really advise you to follow Valerio's advices (specially rosso pomodoro restaurant, which is simply amazing). Our room was a bit cramped, but very cozy. The breakfast is very complete and varied, and it is served in the room. I really recommend you this hotel if you want to visit Venice. The hotel is conveniently located close to Piazza San Marco, right in the heart of the shopping district and great for exploring Venice on foot. It was still secluded enough to provide a sanctuary from the tourist madness. Valerio and Nelly were great hosts and really took care of us. The breakfasts were delicious, the room beautifully appointed and clean and the bathroom was luxury!. The hotel is really great, the location is good, close to San Marco, at first we were worried with the street were the hotel is located, but when we got inside the hotel the bad impression was gone. The room is modern big and comfortable. They provided breakfast in bed, it was really nice. The staff was helpfull at the time we checked out with our luggage. I love the design of the hotel. Not easy to find, and if you sleep in room 1 or 2 there could be a lot of noice from the reception nearby. not being prepared for the steep stairs leading up to the hotel. having to drag our heavy suitcases up to the 2nd floor. À bit tricky to find. For check-in there was nobody at the hotel! We had to call a telephone number to get a door code that was never emailed to me. We requested two beds but had to share a single (but large) bed. No coffee maker or a kattle to make a hot tea to drink. Breakfast was awful. During shower, water cannot release normally and flooding out to whole bathroom. service was like self service.There wasn't any one in the reception while we arrived(13.00)and there wasn't anyone in the afternoon (18.00).Only in the morning during the breakfast was somebody.It was like staying in an empty house.Not recommended for disabled people. two flights of stairs to reception and a further two to the room. No lift. Room very small and noisy. Needs up grading and refurbishment. facilities not great. Too small & cramped.
