This hotel had a great location. However I was a little disappointed that my room did not have a view overlooking the canal as that was one of the key points that attracted me to staying there. nice hotel, great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location!. I loved the location of the hotel-just off the Piazza San Marco. So i didn't matter how far we walked and got lost we could always find our way back! Great location!.

Price of drinks in mini bar and restaurant bar - but that could be said for most of Venice!. I've made the reservation in this hotel for 3 person through booking.com page. I put in this hotel with my colleague up. When we wanted checked out, the man behind the Reception desk didn't give us the separate checks for our stay!!!! He explain that this is impossible and gave us one check only for me with hand writed names my collegaues on it!!!! This was a strange situation for us!!!!!. Staff was not that knowledgable or helpful, very small rooms, older. No airconditioning / out of order. stuff was not friendly. staff not helpful , and the breakfast less then average. Wery old, needs renovation. Poor breakfast for 4*Hotel.If you love Venice (which we do) you tolerate anything affordabledespite this being a typically shabby Venetian hotel. Surly staff, tiredcommon spaces, lobby, dining room, little to commend the place otherthan a very central (and noisy) location. Needs a facelift, that's all. We had a room problem that went unreconciled during our stay -- no attempt at a fix and no discount on the rate.The hotel noisy and not comfortable, therefore I havwe stay one night and cancelled the rest. The rooms are not well isolated from each others... we can easily hear neighbors, ...or even the toilet water flush for instance... no free internet, ... one receptionist was too arrogant ... at the breakfast the waitresses are not friendly (we just wanted to change the table and they had one of those hateful look)..

In front of the train station you will find the water-bus (vaporetto) and water-taxi boarding point.

Take vaporetto lines 82 or 1 (or line N during nighttime) and get off at San Marco-Vallaresso. The hotel is a 2 minutes' walk from the pier.

Alternatively, take a water-taxi (approximately 20 minutes). In case of high or low tide, the water-taxi may not land at the hotel’s pier but at a canal close by.

By Air:
