The girl running the place was lovely she checked us in and out and served breakfast the next morning! Breakfast was one of the best we've had in Ireland, variations on the full Irish get tiresome really quick but there was a huge selection including eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast and omelettes made to order. Good value for Kinsale too and centrally located. Everything about this Hotel is exellecent. The breakfast menu was superb with anything from Fresh homemade scones to Eggs benedict.The sellection was exellecent and the staff were more than helpfull and welcoming. This Hotel is a must. Home from Home.
all reviews » The staff was very welcoming and very patient with us as we arrived late in the evening. The accommodations were very cozy ( and the bedding was deluxe!). The breakfast was special and we loved the health muffins! (Really would love the secret recipe!). Beautiful Kinsale.Magda is the manager and runs the hotel very efficiently.Our room with a view #17 was fabulous.We enjoyed the hearty breakfasts.The staff were approachable,friendly and professional.We are truly enthusiastic about a return trip. I loved the location of the hotel, in the centre of the town, but really peaceful and quiet at night time. I had a lovely big room, decor excellent, really clean and very comfortable bed. The location was perfect. The room was really nice and I loved the chandelier in the room. Breakfast was amazing. I wish we stayed longer. Staff were sweet and polite. Everything, from booking in to booking out everyone was very helpful.would recommend and already have to other travelers. Staff were excellent & position great. The weather was atrocious:rained everyday. Nothing really comes to mind. Nothing suited us just fine. Nothing for us as it was a Sunday but thru the week parking could be a problem. The room was small and with south facing windows extremely warm. The drapes had to be closed during much of daylight to manage summer heat. The toilet wasn't working well. Would have preferred to have wash clothes. nothing. Tried to charge us €140 at check out - even though we had our reservation voucher with letsbookhotel.com for €100. Hotel is a little scruffy !. Nothing :-). nothing. We visited during a warm spell and there wasnt air con in the room at night. No wifi reception in room. Unfriendly morning checkout staff. Noisy. Room a bit small.
