reception area was gorgeous, girls on the front desk were so friendly and helpful. we arrived early and our room was not ready so we went and had a look around the shops, the girl on the front desk rang when our room was ready and our bags were waiting in our room for us. our room was gorgeous huge king size bed, jacuzzi bath and very clean. we had dinner in the hotel the food was gorgeous and the breakfast the next morning was one of the best hotel breakfast iv had in awhile. all reviews » The staff were unbelievably helpful, I left my phone behind in one of the bars and they absolutely tried their very best to locate it for me, even offered to let me walk around the bar in the morning to see if I could find it. I left my home telephone number behind on the off-chance that someone handed it in, got into the car and drove home to Dublin. When I got home there was a message on my answering machine to say that it had turned up. I cannot recommend the staff more, especially Claire an. Our stay was brilliant from start to finish. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating at all times, and upon arrival, we were upgraded to a beautiful garden suite with a fabulous view. Langton's itself is very stylish yet relaxed and certainly one of the most comfortable ones we have stayed at in Ireland. You could spend days exploring the different parts of the hotel and the beautiful outdoor areas and bars. One of our favourites was the gorgeous tearoom with its lovely secluded patio area. Everything about the experience was positive - the staff were so friendly and helpful, organised a late checkout at arrival, the room was immaculate, the food was impressive and reasonably priced. Handles on the door in the shower were loose and rug in room needs cleaning. Poor reception and selection on TV. Meal at night was ok. the noise from the nightclub. Everything was good. difficult to find an answer here. Food was poor Only tepid hot water Very pervasive smell of varnish. Curtains in the room are very dusty and dirty. Room service was cold by the time we got it. Lots of insects. We could hear everything in the rooms beside and above us , and it wasnt pleasant hearing other people having intercourse when your having a bath.
