The apartment was perfect for my family of three! After putting my daughter to bed, my husband and I could still relax and enjoy an evening in the living room rather than hiding from her view in the bathroom. The staff was wonderful and so friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful. Also the location made it so easy to walk right into the heart of Galway. And if you don't feel like walking into the city, you can enjoy the view of it from the amazing patio. We will definitely stay here again when.
all reviews » We absolutely loved the location. So close to shopping, city sights and the bus station. We also loved the size of our apartment. Our daughter is living in Galway and we were able to entertain 7 of her friends. She was also able to stay with us for the duration of our stay. The free parking garage was wonderful also as we rented a car for 3 days and didn't have to worry about parking. Last but not least, the view of the city and Galway Bay was spectacular!. The apartments are so easy to find and only a five minute walk from the station. They are light, comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean and the staff could not be more helpful. If you want to be central to the action then this is definitely the place. The coach station, where all the day trips leave from is also a five minute walk away down the hill opposite the Western hotel. We booked two apartments to share between 8 people for my 30th birthday. The apartments were stunning! They are also ideally located right in the centre of Galway and near to the takeaway places at the end of the night. The view is amazing especially at sunrise and sunset. The staff are extremely helpful, can't fault them. We have already decided to come again!. Very central to city life, one minutes walk from main shops and bars, Superb views from huge windows of Galway bay and surrounding countryside. Great little 1 bedroom apartment that is fully furnished. The view from the deck is amazing, easy walk to everything and the shower was AMAZING! Full pressure and really nice and hot (if desired). The reception staff were very efficient when we advised the apartment underneath was noisy and full of young people. They then ejected the 17 young people, and we had a quiet night. It is a pity we had to contact them by mobile phone. Please pass on that the food in the dining room was exceptional. We had a voucher in the apratment for a free bottle of wine and tried the set menu. The Lithuanian gal who waited on us was exceptional was well. Excellent value for money. Was just a 3 minute walk to Eyre Square and 5 to the main restaurants and shops. Apartments are in a prime location with good parking. They are well maintained and comfortable. There is an excellent breakfast served in the Western Hotel and the staff there are very helpful. It is in a great location the apartment is new and specious and very secure it has beautiful views of the city and coast I would certainly use them again and recommend them. Nothing really bad about it, but on observation: One of the apartments had a black kitchen in a room that didn't get much sun, I would convert those cabinets to white to brighten the space a bit. There was no baking tray, so we had to cook wedges on whatever space we could find in the oven. There's visible some wear and tear that need to be addressed. The heaters didn't seem to work in any part of the apartment. The TV and cable were a little disappointing with limited selection and no DVD player to allow us to rent movies. Nothing. The apartment was a bit expensive but was well worth the extra money. There was nothing. There was an air vent in our room that hummed all night and the lights outside made the room very bright - maybe black out blinds in the bedrooms would be good. The only small minuses were that the sound from the TV didn't match with the visuals - might be something to do with signal. Plus found some rubbish in between the cracks of the sofa. A bit pricey, bathroom fan didn't work, noisy neighbors on weekend. although there is parking included with the apartments there is only one space per apartment. We had six people traveling from different parts of the country so six cars for two apartments. The staff asked me to call back at 6pm ad they would let me know if there were extra spaces. Luckily there were and we all got to park there. Just something to be aware of. Access to car park. It was a bit worn down - you can see it's not really being taken care of. The staff was barely helpful. Parking is a nightmare!! You have to find a place to leave the car before you can check-in and get the fob, and you have to get your car out of the garage before you check out!. It's bare bone as far as self catering goes. They could use better window coverings, it was quite bright. None. Water heater on a timer, the apartment is a block away from the reception area, hard to find where to park for check in. No clean towels we had to use same towels both days. Intrmittent WiFi failures only slightly annoying. Our child is 18 months and fouund a cheese grater in a press down low. Obviously this was dangerous and could have caused an injury.Luckily it was spotted straight away. I suppose just to be careful what is left in the lower press... Nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. Lack of seating on terrace. nothing. Signs/directions to the apartments could be clearer. The blinds in one of the bedrooms were broken (cracked) and they didn't open properly. Only one parking space for an apartment for four people. Just a bit too noisy double glazing not that good. nothing. Parking took some time to get used to. The motion sensors for lighting was annoying. It was all good. Anybody clean room during 4 days. Only thing i didn't like was the weather while we were there!. access to parking for the day after check out furnishes could have used updated. The sound of the traffic, despite having windows closed it was pretty horrendous. The front door to apartments did not lock which was a little off putting given city centre locations. These two issues would prevent me from staying there again,.

The Western Bar, right next door, is warm, welcoming place and renowned for the largest open traditional Irish music sessions in Galway. The carvery and snack menus are available from 12:00 to 17:00, and the à la carte evening menu from between 17:00 and 20:00 (Sundays 12:00 and 17:00 only). These apartments are located above The Citypoint- Galways newest shopping centre. These apartments are self-catering making them ideal for longer breaks in Galway city. These apartments cater for 2, 3, 4 or 5 guests per apartment.

Important information to guests

All CityPoint Apartments are strictly non-smoking. Please note, guests are not permitted to bring visitors to the property. Additional charge for gas and electricity will be applied. This only applies to stays over 7 nights. Check-in for the apartments is at the Western Hotel. Further instructions will be provided upon check-in. Short-term underground parking for check-in at the Western Hotel can be accessed down a ramp from St Bridget's Place. There is a separate car park for Citypoint Apartments. At the hotel, directions to the Citypoint car park will be given, as well as a fob to gain access. There is 1 parking space allocated per apartment. Upon arrival, for all apartment bookings, a signed damage contract is required. The hotel may request cash or credit card pre-authorisation deposit specified in the policies as a security deposit. The deposit is refunded on departure if no damage has occurred. Please note that the apartments are not cleaned during your stay. A starter pack of toiletries and cleaning products is provided upon arrival. Please note that for bookings of 3 apartments or more, the payment options and cancellation policies are different. The required deposit is 50% at the time of booking and a further 50% deposit is required at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. The property will contact guests shortly after booking to confirm the procedure, along with details regarding the security deposit required upon arrival.
