This was one of the best trips I've had to Dublin. My flight was delayed, and my husband's flight was ever more delayed, so we arrived late at night, tired, hungry and grumpy. The staff could not have been nicer, whisking our bags upstairs and organising drinks for us in the drawing room at the speed of light. The food provided at nearly midnight was exceptional. It is an outstanding hotel.

The treatments in the Tethra Spa were excellent,. No coffee or tea facilities in the room. the rooms view was not the best, and it was a bit small. I had stayed here before and recieved a much larger room..They made a small mistake on our bill which should not have happened. I have to say however, once it was pointed out to the staff they apologised and immediately removed the item from the bill. Continental breakfast should be included price way over board this was very disappointing having to go out for breakfast after first day 50 euro too much for bread and tea. No tea in the room. I think it was overpriced and it would of been nice to of had tea/coffee making available in your room. The price of the breakfast 81.00 euro for two people. Pillows were weird. The only point I would make is that our room had a musty smell which we put down to a previous occupant being a smoker. service was not up to standard. A couple of staff were surly. The rservice was poor - in fact every time I ordered something in the restaurant or via room service it arrived incorrectly or we were over charged. For the price I paid, this hotel was poor value for money.
