The newness of the facilities, the service, the feel of the place. Thestaff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very handy-walking distance to anywhere in Helsinki. The room was lovely and quietand the area felt very safe. The hotel was wonderful, beautiful room, interesting architecture of the hotel, good breakfast, attractive restaurant and terrace cafe. Very convenient location for ferries and for getting to the main part of the town by trolley.

Breakfast is not the best that you can find in Helskinki (and Scandinavian) hotels. 1)Sauna should be paid as an extra which is very strange,I have stayed in 3 hotels in Finland before and everywhere it was for free; 2)carpert in the room was not properly cleaned. Bad ventalation! Only airco that is blowing all the time in your room.Windows can't be opened. This is through the whole hotel. So very dryair!! Sauna only open one hour a day!. the windows can not be opened, because of an obsolete cimatisation system. Rather too austere. sauna didn't work for 1 day; for 3 days nobody changed burnt out bulb; every day there were 2 tea cups in 3 persons room; much higher price on checkout then during booking - after 20 minutes talk we paid original price;.
