The location of the hotel was great- very close to the station, though I did go out the wrong door and get lost for a while. Oh well! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I did arrive early and was happy to leave my luggage and go for a walk, but no they found me a room immediately and I was soon settled in. Othe staff helped me with internet connection later and gave me advice about getting to things I wanted to see and restaurants for dinner. Everything was spotlessly clean. My room was .
all reviews » The hotel is very near to Brussels Central Station . When I reached this station , there are lack of signage in English and no free map is available at station ,which its slight difficult for me to find the hotel location for the first time . On the second day , we goes around the Brussels Central tourist attraction . It's very convenient because the hotel is located within walking distance to these tourist attraction . You will not get lost when you walk around . Just in case you are lost ,. I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and professional. The room itself is big, has all the necessary equipment. They provide the shampooing with olives which i found it very moisturise. One bulb was gone in my room, the staff came to change immediatly. And the location is excellent just a minute walk from the central station, 5 mins to famous attractions. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Nicholas who advised us on restaurants, travel directions and modes of transportation. Location was excellent - walking distance to the Grand- Place, restaurants, Central Station. Quiet rooms facing onto a laneway on one side and an office building on the other side. practical,business-like, extremely presentable, unpretentious, no frills, excellent location. As a solo female traveller, on a business trip, while the location is superb for connections, it can also be a bit dodgy after sunset. Also, the hotel does not have a restaurant so this was somewhat problematic for me. The bed was a bit worn out. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was a bit expensive. We found a spider into the toilet walking around the towel. We also found an insect walking on the pillow. Did not take breakfast at 20 euro per person - lots of local cafes close by though. A bit stiff in the room, for the price we paid they could haveincluded a breakfast into the rate. 20 euro charge for a breakfast is too much - in any nearby cafe there is a variety of things for 6-7 euro maximum. The elevator area looked a bit used. a pretty expensive and parking space is limit. Breakfast at 20 euro: concession at 15. Better value in local cafe for about 8 euro. Lights in room; practical but dated. Room was a little dirty. Scuff marks on all walls. Fridge was dirty and wouldn't fully close. One of the provided drink glasses was not clean. Coffee machine not very clean or well supplied, desk light not working. Awkwardly sited mirror in bedroom. Nothing. It is a fairly bland corporate chain hotel; don't go here if you want traditional Belgian architecture or quirky character. Couldn't open the window on the bathroom to evacuate the steam/humidity/condensation from the shower. No hotel uniform for the staff at the reception. Rooms and public areas a bit dark. Hard to find somthing I did not like. Rooms could be more spacious and bettet equiped. Poor toilet acessories. No food service out of breakfast. I needed to eat at 11pm and there was nothing available in the hotel. Had to go out to grand Place. The mini bar was empty no room service very dim lighting in the room tv remote didn't work properly No tv film channels (pay-to-watch) Heating seemed to switch off on its own.
