If you ask a local, they may not even know about this B&B, since all of their business is generated through the internet. If you're lucky enough to have found it, you'll discover that you're staying 1 minute from the central square, yet still sheltered from the hubbub. The room was spacious and clean. You share a comfortable common area, and access is via a great spiral staircase surrounded by atmospheric momentoes.
all reviews » Spacisou and comfortable rooms. They were warm and it was important since the outside temperature was 0 Degree. The breakfast was included and very nice. Fresh orange juices, fresh fruits, selection of bread/croissants, yaourt, pies, ham/cheese, coffee,etc. The hotel has a restaurant with a large selction of local dishes at decent price. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location, right at the foot of the main plaza. Location, location, location - just off the Markt. Very pleased with our choice of staying here. Hotel Verdi is in a fabulous position, 10 metres off the Market Square. The rooms are lovely, with a sitting room, bedroom and lovely bathroom. The room and breakfast were excellent value. The staff were attentive and very courteous. The hotel has a private garage a few blocks away (small charge). Noise at night from revellers, but will take earplugs the next time. This did not detract from a wonderful weekend stay. They added on a 17% service charge which you were given very little option but to pay and made no real effort to make you aware of this until you went to pay upon checking out. Despite this they were happy to encourage tipping in the meantime. Breakfast was included but other than that no real service was actually provided. Nothing. Nothing. Would have liked to have a kettle in the room. Great location, virtually on the main square - but a little noisy late into the night. (I should have realised when planning!). Décor very new - room very 'groovy' and Austin Powers like - fun - but I would not want it at home. nothing.
