Fantastic all round experience very hospitable staff, amazing rooms, superb breakfast, centrally located will definetly go again . Want to tell everyone about this brilliant guest house and what a fabulous stay in Bruge we had.It made our girls weekend away special and one not to be forgotten. It was very central,hotel,beautiful chandeliered rooms with a picture postcard views through classical flemish style lattice windows onto the main square-enchanting-staff were also attentive and helpful. all reviews »
the friendleness, helpfullness and kindness of the staff. The high standard of the accomodation. Location. The room was huge - it had a lounge area and dining table - and was beautifully decorated. Staff were really friendly.Location is great. Its room is very gorgeous and spacious but not very confortable as a hotel room. It is more like a nice living room converted to a hotel room with a disponible bed. Central location, friendly staff and a great restaurant.The room was very large and grand. The armchairs,couch and dining area made the room very comfortable. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful and obliged with our request to leave our luggage with them prior to checking in. Lovely restaurant with excellent food,coffee and service. room had wonderful view of Brugge square and was very comfortable. Staff were extremely nice and we have booked to return for Christmas market.The room is incredible, very large and wonderfully decorated (overlooking the market square). The location could not be better. Beautiful room. No tea or coffee making facilities. No tea coffee macking facilities, which Hotel/BandB have you ever stayed in were there was not this facility?. Bed is not very confortable. The main square where the hotel was situated was a little noisy and busy. Early morning deliveries to the reataurants and bars began at 6am and woke us up!. Closing on a Tuesday. Although this is a guest house, it would be great to have at least one designated staff to serve you.Minute shower room, "double bed" was twin beds pushed together with twin duvets and which slid apart.

This historic building, named Lostel a le Lune for the first time in 1302, was hired by the city of Bruges to welcome princesses and ambassadors, notables and magistrates during the many feasts and ceremonies in the market square.
Today, the hotel has 3 comfortable suites which overlook Bruges’ Grand Place.

Information about the area
The historic centre of Bruges became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. As such, cultural interest is found throughout the city, especially due it's vast amount of original gothic architecture. It's attractions include: the 13th Century Belfort, housing a municipal Carillion comprising 47 bells. The city still employs a full-time bell ringer, who puts on regular free concerts.
Other famous buildings include the Beguinage, the Heilig Bloed Basiliek (the Basilica of the Holy Blood), the modern Concert Hall and the St-John Hospital.
