The sucurity was of high standard. Staff were welcoming and prompt. Easy to find and great access from street. Very clean and well equipped mini bar. Love the freedom of having the kitchenette in the room. Love the fact I don't have to step over and into a bath/spa to have a shower! I liked the newspaper, definitely a great extra. Very affordable and luxurious!! Didn't hear any external noise from our room.
all reviews » the friendly and professional staff; the size of the studio apartment was surprisingly very large and very comfortable; the restaurant in the hotel and the cafe next door were excellent and value for money. Room was clean; bed was comfortable; shower was excellent and the radio worked! A working radio is a rarity among hotels these days. We have stayed here many times, and have always found the rooms to be clean and of good standard for the price (generally, sometimes room rates seem to be very high for no discernible reason). Well located for us, but could be difficult if you don't have a car. Bed was very comfortable even though it was two singles pushed together, room was very clean and staff were polite. Very close to the train station and shopping facilities. Seafood was delicious definitely worth the money. Was only there 2 nights & out during the day so can't really comment. I need a lomnger stay to experience what is on offer & the location so hope to return 1 day. Our apartment had a balcony at the back of the hotel, facing out to the bush. Lots of bird song in the morning, and no traffic noise. Apartments are well-maintained. We were pleasantly surprise at the quality and cleanliness. Location is an easy walk to the train station. The restaurant served delicious meals. Nice big studio apartment with kitchenette and lovely shower. Nice and quiet. Also late check out that we requested was appreciated. Having to check out :-). It was probably inevitable, but the $15 a day parking charge introduced earlier this year was not welcomed, especially as the Quest is is a little off the beaten track. This has certainly reduced the value of the Quest compared to other similat hotels in the area. Nothing. My abbreviated stay. Apartments are rather small. No dining table and 2 chairs to go with the mini kitchen. No clear sign on outside control of the secure parking area. Cost of the room and cost of one phone call overseas was exorbitant. Also being charged for car park was unnecessary and free wifi should be in the rooms and not just in the hotel lobby. Did not like being for credit card as bond for extra charges. This is unecessary. No free Wifi and the convenient store was close all the time when we were there. Our booking was not received and we had to wait for an hour for this to be resolved. Inconsistency with 'house-keeping" - had to request rubbish removal x 2. No laundry on sunday. The air conditions didnt work in night. buffet breakfast average also think car parking should be complimentary for guests (being out of central sydney). your internet is so poor :( that's the main source or communication and it should be 24/7... even if it has a cost, still I didn't experience the value of having it. No too many facilities such as shops, restraunts etc nearby. The only thing was the person in the restaurant could have been a little more professional. He was out in the storeroom during breakfast time and not available to greet the guests. Not professional serving and clearing tables. Poorly presented. *Was not informed that $245 would be held on credit card for each of the two rooms that I booked. *breakfast at $30 each was the most expensive we have paid in Sydney. would be better if parking included in price on weekends. The parking for visitors is not very friendly. well did not get a free meal. the under car park security open door post is not clearly marked and the room numbers are not displayed in the hallway @ level 1. not a lot of free parking. Collapsing/ broken chair. lack of viable public transport to easter show. Toilet was leaking. We didnt use minibar but they charged thru my Visa card without notice 1bottle of wine..2days later after staying. I think there was a slight mustiness, my husband got quite uncomfortable hay fever and asthma symptoms the night he was there. We were disappointed that the tv reception was lost on Saturday and could not be repaired until the Monday. Needed to know that the air conditioning leaked if below 24. One bedside light not working. I did report it, but not fixed. I have stayed there many times, but this has never been acknowledged. A computer note would help. efficiency seemed more important than warmth and welcome.... as for question 5 my recommendation would be reserved. Tv locked down from changing input eg plugin laptop, under cover parking $15pn, no wireless in room only charged ethernet. The booking date being wrong when confirming The room was not prepared with twin beds in one room as requested TV in one room was not functioning. The restaurent is very expensive .Almost CBD prices. Location is isolated . Very expensive and breakfast not included. Breakfast expensive and fairly ordinary. Room not made up one day and needed several calls to rectify. Hotel didnt seem to know I was there even after check in. Advertised free internet in public area. They do have a computer you can use, but no free WiFi to use your own laptop. If you want this, you have to buy something in the restaurant... I didn't like my room's floor, this time, It was on floor number 1, like a basement,. very pokey,. The room was not warm enough due to split, I think need a better Heating System than split, in coming cold winter. The last thing is; please supply a tooth paste to use. Thank you :). What I didn't like was I paid $110 for 3 hrs oh well won't do that again.
