This was our first visit to New York. The location is excellent. I travelled with my three daughters and we felt safe. Easy access to subway, shopping and sight seeing. The staff was more than welcoming and extremely helpful. I recommend this hotel to all my friends. Will make sure to stay again. Thanks for making our visit memorable. when we got our first room the door handle was broken and we got stock in the room for a few minutes untill we opened the door. i went to tell that to the staff and they changed the room right away to a bigger more comfortable room. the service was great!.
all reviews » The hotel is in an excellent location.Just a 5 minute walk from Times Square and the subway is right beside the hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was exactly what I needed in the location I needed and at a resonable price.Nice relaxing stay. The location of it as it was right beside main transport station. Excellent location,across the road from Penn Station,a few minutes walk from Macys + Times Sq + not far from Port Authority.Its perfect for shopping,sightseeing etc..Had no problems with staff or the decor, the room was a decent size, bed was comfortable + room + bathroom were clean.If you're in NY + spending enough time if your room/hotel to care about the decor, you are in the wrong city!!. The location is very good and you can get easily everywhere. The room was nice and clean with supersize bed. Pluses for the fridge and air condition in the room. It would be great if free in-room Internet connection was provided to guests instead of having to queue use the two computers in the lounge. Busy elevators, especially during check in and out time. I'd suggest the stairs unless you are on upper floors.asked for a smoking room and was given a non-smoking room. it was amazing!. paying a hundred dollars deposit in cash on arrival , it should be stated on the website. You have no free internet and now a days it makes a difference. check in took to long. The hallways and the room are in need of a fresh coat of paint.Rooms too old need to be renewed. Overpriced for the facilities and size of room.Checking in and out is a diseaster because of the understaffing of the front desk. For the price, the room was miniscule, the cover of the bed was coming apart, and we only had one pillow each, which was flat enough that we had to fold it over to get enough volume to be comfortable. I also had planned to order a roll-out cot (didn't want to sleep with my travelling companion), but there was no way there was room enough for it in the room. The staff on the phone were quite rude.The bathroom in the hotel was very old, and there was a huge hole in thesink other than the drain. The bath tub/shower was is desperate for arefinishing. The curtains need a good dry cleaning. I heardconstruction, and able to see workers outside my window (creepy). But,over all I would stay again cause of the location!!. My friend booked a suite and was very disapointed her room was smaller than mine. The staff are very slow on reception.Facilities.. Wireless broadband available only in lobby - and even then it was not entirely reliable. I was in a room on a floor being renovated too, so not great.front desk attitude.
