We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of our honeymoon in Thailand. the location was perfect as a short five minute taxi ride from Phuket airport. Located at the end of Nai Yang beach so a little away (400m) from main strip of beach side bars and very peaceful. Staff were excellent, they upgraded us to a villa on arrival which was beautiful - great outdoor shower and bath and we loved the pool at the villa as well as the resort pool. all reviews » We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Dewa Phuket and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms all had a kitchette which was great if your staying with a fammily or prefer to cook yourself. Everything that you would need was provided and you felt like you were staying at home. The Gym's were great, the pool was clean, the staff was very friendly and the beach just a couple of minutres walk accross from the hotel. The small town was about 5 mins walk from the hotel, but was an easy and safe walk. Be. This beautiful resort is located 10 mins from Phuket airport so it is the ideal pre or post holiday relaxation destination. Alternatively, if you stay here and here only, you will not be disappointed. I stayed in a Villa and it oozed romance and privacy! Sadly on this trip I was travelling alone so didn't get to share the experience with my partner. That said, solo or couple, the Villa is serene, private and so relaxing. The outside shower and bath are a novelty, but again, totally private. I w. Location is very good goodT the hotel is in the fishing village, close to the seaside restaurants, which are the best place to enjoy sunset and fresh meal (fish). The hotel is in the national park and if you walk 20- 30 minutes along the beach towards the airport, you will enjoy one of the best beaches in Phuket Not many Russians in the hotel. Staff speaks good English Green territory. Liked the layout, the pools were long enough for lap swimming & very clean. Quiet spacious room, free parking, free wifi in all areas, helpful &friendly staff. Love the location is abeam a great beach, and National Park, plus it's close to the airport, and walking distance to variety of eateries. And free bicycles!. We loved our Villa, the pool and outdoor bathroom was the best of it all and everything was private and so close to the beach. We also liked the that it was so close the beach and the local experience was amazing...not as busy and noisy as Patong. Thank you :-). Everything was perfect about dewa phuket . staffs were very good socially bright. They helped us with everything .the swimming pool with bubble jaccusi was brilliant. Several days in a row of dreadfully irritating noise from a loud whipper snipper used by a gardener next door in the National Park. Not relaxing at all, but out of the hotels control sadly. The food varieties could have been better. Except PR the receptionist very few ppl could converse in english. Taxidriver at airport were charging 700 Baht, more than double normal pay, when we arrived. The National park next to the hotel is somewhat shabby, not in style with the hotel. Have to cross the street to get to the beach, though there is very little traffic. The hotel is a connected with some sort of apartment/condo thing. Though the condos seem fine they do bring down the overall resort experience. They could have informed us that cooked breakfast was by order as we missed out on that after seeing self service was continental only. Otherwise no gripes. Dogs barking ALL NIGHT LONG on street/surrounding houses and curtains/blinds are so thin light floods into the bedrooms as soon as daybreak comes and if you are a light sleeper, this is terrible. They need to make rooms 'dark' in terms of new curtains/blackout backs to curtains. . The interior and exterior of the restaurant held higher standard than the food itself. - eventhough the rooms were very spacious and well equiped you could notice that the last renovation was some years ago... Poor repair of public roads. shower water fluctuated during shower, boiling hot then cold. The beach is not good, you have no direct access from the hotel, have to cross a buissy road and if you want to swim you have to walk 100 m!. It's cheaper then other 5 stars for a reason!! We left early and went to the sala phuket which is a 5 star in every sense. If your backpacking and want a treat or on a real budget and want to tell your friends your staying at a 5 star book this. As long as your happy with a 3 star when you get there. Staff unhappy, rude, demoralised and need a kick up the bum. 1. The Pool Villa wasn't clean 2.
