We needed to be at the airport by 10pm and were coming from Phi Phi that day so booked this room as somewhere to keep our bags, relax and have a shower near the aiport. It was very good value and about a 10-15mins walk to the beach where we spent our last afternoon.
The staff were very friendly, the facilities perfectly good and the 5mins taxi ride to the airport was 200 baht.
We chose naiyang because of its location. We had a flight the next day. It's in a quieter, more local part of Phuket but it's near a beach, some restaurants too.

Close to the airport----very nice management. We needed to wait for our
room to be cleaned so the manager took us to exchange money, took us to
the market to get food. He then took us on a short tour of the area.

.very handy for Phuket airport. Short walk to Naiyang beach, the best beach on The island if you want to escape from the resorts. Local village has numerous stalls a mini-mart, motorbike rental and a few restaurants.

The only thing I didn't love was the lack of restaurants around but we didn't choose it for restaurants, it's perfect location for airport transfer.
The restaurant we ate in was 250m when you turn right out of naiyang cottage. It was per priced.
We found out afterwards that of we went 250m to the left, there's cheaper eateries around. And a supermarket!.
200 Baht for the 1.5 km ride to the airport is a bit steep.

Air con unit was VERY loud, is not as close to the beach, shops or restaurants as I thought. Tea/coffee facilities were very poor and on a table outside. Taxi driver not always available. Bed extremely uncomfortable.
