Bamboo huts gorgeous. Basic but so clean and just what you need for being pretty much on the beach. Locals so friendly and a resounding feeling of being safe and looked after. Ruan Mai was great for the money and we were so impressed we came back and spent the last 4 nights here! Due to the relaxed environment, it made an incredibly friendly community which helped make the experience so enjoyable and warm.
all reviews » Beautiful, beautiful place! At first I was surprised how basic it was (absolutely NOTHING in the cottage except the bed and the fan) but it was really all that I needed. It is so clean and beautiful, and right on the beach! Loved to just sit on the porch, listen to the waves and look around that paradise garden...will come back!!!!. The cottage was great - next to the beach, the beach was clean, lovely, peaceful and quiet. Very basic accommodation but very cute. Right on the beach, nice little huts, pretty comfortable, good Internet and lovely area. Recommended for 2-3 days of relax. Cool place to stay but not for so long. Advice-bring mosquitio spray and if you have mosquito liguid which you put in plug. The hut was nice, with bathroom facilities and wifi. Next to the beach, the staff were great. Had a good time!. Staff- friendly, calm, Very near to airport. Recommended for Arrival Stay. Friendly och helpful staff. Quiet place, close to everything you need. I liked the bamboo hut number 22 I stayed in very much. close to the airport, on the beach, it was quite fun to spend several nights in bamboo cottage - nest, openair bathroom :), close to the restaurants and shop, very quiet place to stay, no night life. Liked the cool little bungalow type huts. Nice private garden feel to the place and an entrance from the huts directly onto the beach. The location was right on a lovely beach. Its near the airport for a late/early flight. Nice garden, clean. Good location, good friendly staff, cosy beach bungalows were very cute, reasonable price. Right on the beach and 5 minutes from the airport. Less than 10 minutes from Phuket airport by taxi. Right on N'ai Yang Beach which is delightful . right on the sea. near the beach near the airport, only 5 min by car. Cheap for close to airport. Location at the beach. Peacefull beach.Location. hmm maybe the location because it was right on the beach but the beach was pretty dirty. Nothing. Would recommend to all and would be back in a second! It is basic. Don't expect luxury but it is clean and perfect for living on the beach and returning to your hut for a shower and a sleep.............. It was low season, so almost nowhere to eat. Most of the staff did not speak english, but the girls were sweet and always friendly, willing to help with any questions I had. With google translate there were no problems. Confused with Nai Mayang Beach Resort. Some dogs scared us, sometimes they bite. For a non smoker to have a smoking couple staying in hut next to me was terrible the smoke smell came to me at 2-3am while sleeping that's not nice it would be an idea to separate smoker from non smokers as much as possible. as the cottage didn't have A/C (just fan) it was quite hot in there, but it's my personal opinion; no night life. The photos are not very accurate of the bathroom facilities. What you get is much more basic yet still adequate enough. Staff didn't speak English. Unfortunately construction work going on at the time ruined the vibe for us, room a bit on the small side but ok if you travel light, mosquitoes and shower wasn't too good. very small bungalow no restaurant. Really a low cost hotel, you just have the minimum. But for the price you can not expect more, it's correct. In the bamboo huts there is nowhere to put anything - no shelf or hooks so everything had to stay on the floor. Noise from barking dogs made for interrupted sleep but otherwise comfortable. Just a bamboo hut with only a bed in it. When we booked the hotel the breakfast was included, but in fact it wasn't. They turned me back only 100 bat and that only after long conversation, if we knew it earlier we would booked another hotel. they have some kind of renovation in the hotel, so it is dirty and very noisily till 11 pm. Bamboo huts are incredibly basic. Stairs into the hut and down to the bathroom are loose breeze blocks, not very safe. Be careful, no taxis seem to know where this place is, took 3 car rides before we finally arrived at the right place. The bungalow was little and tight The bathroom was quite poor. Everything was expensive. hotel is old, dirty, sheets are not really clean and the furniture is REALLY OLD. Huge step down into bathroom. A ladder would have been helpful!!. the woman wasnt very friendly, there was a rat in the bathroom, so much construction was going on you could barely get to the beach, and the location wasnt the best we've seen but that might just be the part of Phuket we were in. - brown water - breakfast was paid, but not included. Yes it is a HUT. Ok for young backpackers but not for mature couple. Very, very basic. Did not feel secure enough. Nowhere to put anything. Doing building work so entry to the beach was blocked, no sea view at all. Very cramped in the garden. Promptly went and booked elsewhere.
