New small Building and nice rooms, very clean
For a young couple which doesnt want to pay too much Zürich and a hostel is no alternative ´because you want your privacy this guesthouse its perfect! You are in the center of the city, clean and nice rooms, for a good price.
Room was quite big, and had a nice wardrobe, a fridge, a table and a little sofa.
Location was OK, close to the station. Not very convenient if carrying heavy baggage (15 mins walk from Zurich HB).all reviews »
Cheapest hotel in Zurich.
Mind that it's in the middle of the red light district, so if you need absolute silence all night, don't come here.

For Zurich this seems to be a good value room, it is a very expensive city. It is walking distance from the main station, so easy to get to if you are arriving by train. There are restaurants close by and you can walk to the main area quite easily.
Stayed at two different times during our three month trip. The first stay had a larger room than the second which proved significant. Very cramped when in the smaller room. No English speaking TV stations was disappointing.

The description to find the house is poor....
We havent found it and searched for it around 30min. It is behind an other house...
They should give the guest a better way description.
There were no glasses, therefore we could not use the tea maker. There was no sugar, tea or coffee as expected. WIFI keyword was not correct so we could not connect. Nobody to talk to in case of need as there is no reception. True there is a phone number, but that's not as easy as having somebody close.
Not very close to bus and tram station, the closes bus station is go north walk about 8 minuets. And the main entrance door is on the side without a signboard, easy to confuse it and room1.
wifi signal is bad.I didn't know which one it was and it turned always off-line.I'm not sure whether the price was worthy(a little bit expensive).

The room was in the ground floor in front of the street and there wasn't the curtain, everybody can check inside, embarrassing!!! Bed is a bit small. In the evening is not the best place to walk with babies.

It still seemed a LOT of money for what it was - but this was the cheapest option I found in Zurich so I suppose Switzerland is just expensive...
There were no instructions about what to do when I left so I just left the key in the door of the room.
Bathroom door, internet v slow,didnt change the bed sheets on my entire 3 day stay,.

the double room is not a double room. It just has a double bed squeezed into it. no table. no chair.
Internet connection was not working!.
It is in a bad neighbourhood, I didn't feel safe at night there. It is a very small room and there is a sky light without a curtain, so don't expect to sleep in. There is no reception, but getting the key was no problem so this didn't bother me. The floors needed a vacuum but the bathroom was clean.

The refrigerator was a very small bar fridge. There was a kettle but no cups/mugs or glassware. The photos depicting the accommodation on the site was not at all what we had, Tiny bathroom with very little head height. The "lively" area described is in fact a very lively red light district. Could not access the free Wi-Fi ( tried every possible avenue ).
There were no cups and glasses (cutlery) in the room. Thermos for making tea was very dirty and we didn't use it because of the same.

Area a bit dodgy.
This was fairly new accommodation, but was not cleaned when I got there. The cleaners did turn up eventually. There was an electric jug, but not a cup, glass or spoon to be had. It was also in the red light district of Dusseldorf which meant I was forced to stay indoors.
It was dirty, ceiling so low that i could not walk properly. the bed was terrible, and worst of all, it looked like people had pleasured themselves leaving stains on the wall next to the bed. Disgusting.
Nobody explains you how to get the key for the room. There is no option
to ask anyone. The hotel is in the middle of the red light zone and our
room was in the ground floor... Our windows directly to the street....
In conclusion, something "cheap" but not worth it.
